I'd like to know who everyone was happiest to see get kicked out. I was happiest to see Jimmy go. He was a distraction, and every time Ramsey said anything to him 99.9% of the time it was screaming at him. I'd like to know what you guys think.

LAST EDITED ON 07-12-05 AT 04:40 PM (EST)I actually disagree with you because I was dissapointed to see Jimmy leave. He always had a smile on the show until he started arguing with Ramsay. He was also quite funny to watch. I want Michael out, I don't like him at all. He is my least favorite. I have been known too be an Andrew hater but found it hard to believe he was let go. It was Ralphs fault not Andrew. I'm ready too see Michael and Ralph go. ETA: Put Andrew instead of Micheal in my last sentence, damn typos.
UL will always suck in my book!

How's it Ralph fault when Andrew doesn't know how to poach halibut? If no one ordered the halibut, then I would pin the blame on Ralph for picking a bad dish. But the fact is lots of people ordered the halibut, the problem is Andrew couldn't deliver.

I agree it was Ralph's recipe. I've tried lots of Julia Childs' recipes and when things don't turn out as well, do I fault Julia's recipe or my own inept cooking? In any case, I hardly think Ralph invented the dish, he probably got the recipe from somewhere else. When the fish was overcooked, that's not Ralph's fault. When the fish has no flavor, that may be Ralph's fault.

On a message board forum, threads often go in a different direction from the original intention. If posters choose to respond to another comment instead of answering the initial question asked, they have the right to do so. As a poster, you do not have the right to tell other posters what they can and cannot do, as long as they stay within the community guidelines.

I was happy to see Andrew leave. He just doesn't have what it takes to make a good chef, IMHO. Sigs by Bob! Like nuthin you've seen before! A/C is cool.

Andrew- a total priggish bore.... was it your whiny baby tattletale persona got you booted? Or was it your defense of not being able to convince your teammates that you have a good idea? Or was it that your cooking stinks? or was it that you can't keep your flipping mouth shut? ... Watching Andrew was like being caught in a vacuum chamber with the constant sound loop of nails on a chalkboard. Jimmy- I don't care how 'nice' you are... the sweat..... in the food... is just so ....not nice.... It could be a runaway bestselling diet book though. The memory makes me not want to eat at all and I'm a week out from the last time I saw the sweat flying off your shiny face into someone's plate... Maybe you could team up with Richard Simmons on an updated "Sweating with the oldies"... Jessica- I just don't know about you... you seems gullible and fragile... *sob* so why do you keep nominating your 'best friends' and seem shocked when they get booted? Are you a shark in Betty Boop disguise?? or are you trying to hiding the fact that you are a sissy girl by trying to look tough? I just can tell with you.... To run a kitchen you must command respect from your crew. Personally I don't like the screaming method of making people cower at your feet but you have to admit that Ramsey has the cojojonies and skills to back up his pissy and in your face aggressive attitude. That said -the only one that I would listen to as a boss would be Ralph.. He seems like a nice guy and he seems to have things under control.. Michael seems to know what he is doing and could be an editing victim.....I like his ideas/presentation etc and he seems to be the only one playing the 'game' to win. Elsie could maybe run a diner type kitchen.. if it didn't get very busy (most people will leave if the chef has to take multiple crying breaks) or a family place -if her family ran it with her, she seems to miss them to much to end up wanting a career that would have her be away from them 20 out of 24 hours a day... she does seems to pull off techniques fairly easily that she has just been shown -so with intensive training she could become good person in the kitchen.. I hesitate to say Chef because she has already said *send me home, this isn't important to me.. *the only time she acted like she wanted to 'win' was when Jimmy didn't pick her (which was her silver lining) and even then she treated her angery like she was in prison and she didn't get cake and everyone else did... at least from what I've seen in the 'confessionals' Ralph and Michael really want their own restaurant. Both seem willing to help the other contestants learn how to cook .. to a point... but they also have the goal of winning in mind.....
Chris the self proclaimed 'Executive Chef' ... good idea big guy, that will curry favor with the big ego that says if you can stay or go .... A Seana original

I was happy to see Andrew go. His puffy lips and perpetually pouty expression really got to me. I thought he endured more of Chef's ranting than he probably deserved because of his constant scowl. Even when he was trying hard to keep his mouth shut his expression still exuded contempt.I was relieved when Dewberry was let go simply because he made me nervous and tense. That how much of a disaster he was. I'll be happy to see Jessica go and I'm sure she'll be going soon. Ralph has been carrying her since the beginning. I wish Jimmy would have picked her to work the floor service last week. That would have been even more dramatic than her misplacing the steaks. I was not at all happy to see Jimmy go. He had a really great disposition. Guys like him take verbal abuse all their lives for being that big. I think he had a right to stand up to Chef. I just can't believe Chef had the gall to 86 him because "he didn't fight back." Baloney! His effort to stand up for himself and keep working was more aggressive than Jessica's whining.

I disagree. I think it was their overall performances during the whole season so far that he also goes by. No one can deny that in most weeks Jessica had a far more impressive evening than Jimmy. Jessica was good enough to be chosen to nominate twice. Jimmy did not ever get that postition because he was never good enough to deserve it. I think that Jimmy and Jessica were both so bad that night that Ramsey had to look back upon past performances in order to make a decision. As Jessica had a far more impressive record than Jimmy, Jimmy was eliminated. Ramsey's comment "Jessica you fought back and Jimmy you didn't" had to do with that the whole night Jessica wouldn't take any of Ramsey's crap. Every time she argued back and stood her ground to a level of bravery but not so much as to the level of just being stupid and trying to go up against Ramsey. Jimmy only said no once. I think Ramsey admires the people who fight back.
