be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out

with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

I have a feeling Andrew is safe this episode. Just a hunch but I could be wrong.

LAST EDITED ON 07-12-05 AT 01:10 AM (EST)I just saw it, I had to record it b/c I was at a friends house but really felt Ralph should of gone home. It was his dish not Andrews. This is the first time I thought Andrew didn't deserve to go home. It was amazing in the second one to see Jimmy win a competition but end up going home. UL will always suck in my book!

Traditionally? Rabbit. Usually these days? Seafood (mussels, clams, etc.).Elsie is boring me. Wah wah wah. I'm not worthy. Ralph is irritating me, too, because (among other things) he's YOUNGER THAN ME. That was a hideous realization to come to last night (I guess I wasn't paying attention-I thought he was in his late 40s or even early 50s). Plus, who advocates halibut over salmon? I ask you? I was actually starting to feel for Andrew last night. Weird. I have to say, though, I missed most of the second hour cos I was watching "America's Next Rock Star" or whatever it's actually called over on VH1 and that proved more compelling than I'd thought.
By the way, I made a sundried tomato and asiago cheese soufflet last night that was to DIE for.

Ralph doesn't have a tendency to look older, doesn't he? I guess it's the thinning hair. Those ladies last night thought he was cute. I didn't feel too badly for Andrew. I don't think of him as being mature enough to win this contest. Sigs by Bob! Like nuthin you've seen before! Your souffle sounds yummy! I've never made one. Recipe? A/C is cool.

The halibut is a great idea because it got the most orders. If the cook can't prepare the dish, why is it the menu creator's fault? Ralph did his job by designing a better menu. Andrew simply can't cook!

Welcome to the boards, Eric. I agree that the problem with the halibut was how it was prepared. Andrew may not have put much effort into it, especially since he was resentful about not getting salmon on the menu. Sigs by Bob! Like nuthin you've seen before! A/C is cool.

oops! wrong pic
OK, after watching TWO hours of this dreck, my brain feels like it's wandering down the river Styx. *bump* OH! Was that a log? Hmmm, well kind of..Rammie: Poisoning off some grub balls with ox tongue and sweetbreads? Is this Fear Factor? Just stick a pigeon in their moufs. Barfle. Klumsey: Woofing wine? Classy! Winging wontons? Can't throw your lobster away fast enough? WooHoo! Rat party time at the HK dumpster. Menu by Ralf: Why no alligator? It almost came back to bite your @ss. Rammie: Like saying: "You da MAN!" Sure, I trust you. Pixel Fuzzworker: Expanding now from Pharohs Mouth to Grub Balls mouths to Customers mouths, and now, even the Wine Bottle label! Sheesh, working the old pinkies to the bone, eh? BlondieSpike: Hair falling out? No worries, it burnt off at scalp level due to the blue air. Hey, stop playing "Hide the Meat" with Klumsey, too. See ya later, Worm Lips! Adios, Klumsey! See y'all behind the lunch counter with da Gooberberry!

For the first time ever I thought Andrew should have stayed. It's not his fault that Ralph picked something that needed to be cooked a certain way. Andrew did try to offer suggestions but that didn't work. He's right, it's like it's turned into "Ralph's Kitchen"... Ralph is getting on my nerves.I agree with others that sometimes you can be shown something and still can't make it as good as the creator of the dish. Also, some people are better at things than others. There are several polish dishes that I learned how to cook from my mom and then my sister when she died that have been passed down from generation to generation. Sure, I could pass the recipes on to a friend, but odds are they aren't going to do as good a job as me. Likewise, a friend of mine is Armenian (sp?) and makes some of the most amazing dishes when we get together. I would not have the first idea how to make them correctly even if I had the recipe. All of the above leads me to the conclusion that Ralph needed to go. Not just for that reason, but what he did to Jessica was unbelievable after she stood up for him. Ralph is a jerk. On to Michael. I like him the most but at the same time he's really getting sneaky. Lord knows he did sabotage Jessica with the filet and all. Now, if I were eating in a fine restarant, I would NOT want someone like him cooking my food though. I could be very wrong for this, but all those tatoos make him look "unclean" in a way. Am I the only one who feels that way? It's not that I'm against tatoos, but his really look disgusting... Elsie is also driving me crazy. If I heard her talk about that paella again I was going to barf. I mean, my family all loves my mom's polish gulumpki, but that's not something I would serve in a restaurant. It's an aquired taste... --Donna :~)
