greeneyes 698 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Reality Show Commentator" 10-19-04, 03:18 PM (EST) "Article on Apprentice 3" LAST EDITED ON 10-19-04 AT 03:19 PM (EST) I was talking to someone at an event the other night, and she gave me some interesting information about Apprentice 3. Apparently one day last week, she was in New Orleans eating lunch with some friends and saw a camera crew rushing through a restaurant. And being the upfront and outgoing person that she is, she went straight up to some of the people with the camera crew and asked what they were filming for. They told her it was for The Apprentice. The challenge involved selling of Red Bull drinks. Unfortunately, she is not a watcher of the show, so she didn't pay any attention to the possilbe contestants or anything -- darn! But just thought it was interesting that they would come all the way to New Orleans. Wonder what that was all about. But it was not a good week for John," said Trump, who had joined "Apprentice" fans and fired contestants of past and present at a downtown Manhattan pool-hall lounge to view Thursday night's episode. Willenborg, 24, was fired for making too many bad decisions, such as not being involved in the pricing of the clothing line that his team designed and failing to bring teammate Wes Moss, who overpriced the clothes, back into the boardroom. In a phone interview, Willenborg described the show, where participants compete for a job with Trump, as a mixture of highs and lows. "You're winning and losing. You're not sleeping at all. The tasks go on for days. The experience is both exciting and very stressful," he said. "It was a tough night, the evening of my demise," Willenborg told the AP on Friday. I wonder if A3 was in New Orleans just for that challenge, or for their entire competition? That would mean that The Donald would have to fly down to New Orleans each week for a boardroom (the fake boardroom could easily be copied in New Orleans....) PS George (Senior Henchman...) had said in an article that if the Apprentice goes into a third season, he would ask to be paid.. "George on with John McEnroe" A few nights ago George was on John McEnroe's Tv show and mentioned how hard it had become to film tasks in New York after season 1 aired. Maybe the solution was to take the show on the road. Film A3 in New Orleans, A4 in Miami etc... "TAR" I Don't think it would be as expensive as The Amazing Race, and TAR isn't as big a hit as The Apprentice is. Of course the true measure of this would be if they were on at the same time. There are many more people on these boards on TAR than on here. Plus, TAR won the Emmy this year and that will likely bring it's ratings even higher. However, the Apprentice wouldn't need a budget as big as TAR b/c they would not be travelling the entire world in your scenario, just parts of the US.
