I'm so upset,I can't believe how Rude that this man was to Marguarite.You don't treat a dog the way she was treated.I'm a Black woman and very proud to be one I know the struggles we as people have been thru.No,We can't forget it but as people we have to move forward.This man treated this woman less than a dog.And I dont like it one Damn bit.To me He might as well Put on A Black Sheet and burn crosses.And I want her to Know That he DO NOT speak for the whole of the people of color. To Me Hate is Hate no matter who spitting it out. there are A-Holes in every colors,So I hope she can found her rainbow again.and not just see black and white.I'm looking for respect as a human being and I give respect back to all Gods children.But I did like how sister girl got a little of her own back at the end with the money.

>with the money. I liked how the little girl got all but maybe 30 (?) dollars....nice little nest egg for a college education for when she turns 18. I feel she got it cause she as a 7 year old acted more mature than her Dad. She taught Margaret the positive while ehr Dad taught the negative.
Yes, the place did look like it needed to be fixed up but that is where a MAN would get up and get a job. I know the Mom (AA one) mentioned working but did the guy ever say what he did besides the radio show which he said was volunteer?
I wish they had shown more of his Mentor.....cause she explained things to him in a calming direct voice. But in the end he still didn;'t get it. sad
The Dad was the extreme and not the norm though. I wonder though why he doesn't question why the AA's who have made it aren't there helping him out.
What I would love to see is this guy (Well his wife) and the self righteuous older blonde lady swap. The blonde lady who both seasons was VERY judgemental.
