Macadamia 46 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Beauty Pageant Celebrity Judge" 07-14-04, 08:54 AM (EST) "Jack seems really emotional" I haven't watched any of the other dating type shows so I really wasn't sure what to expect with Outback Jack. If he isn't angling for an Emmy (Best Faked Display Of Emotion, Reality Show), then this is actually having an impact with him. He's actually taking the eliminations harder than the eliminated parties, and when was the last time you saw that on a dating show? Maybe it's because there's so little involved outside of the romance angle. He can hope for fame (and will likely get a small degree of it), and endorsements (just not for razors), plus some movie roles (minor parts) -- okay, so he's as big a DAW as anyone else. But within the context of the show, there's no cash prize, no fabulous trips, no brand new car, nothing. The women aren't even getting roses. Without fifty thousand potential tax complications to distract his attention, Jack's free to get overly committed to everyone. Or maybe he's just that good an actor. He does seem awfully emotional -- I just can't figure him out. At times I feel bad for him -- when he's shedding those tears, but then other times I don't. like last night. I cannot believe his taste in women. I mean, giving Cortney the boot? She was the only cool girl on the show...and his excitement about seeing that wicked Marissa return? He's just dumb. Cortney was both hot and cool, while the rest are just hot. Oh and Maria...best quote..."I mean I basically love the guy..." followed by a dorky yet conniving little snort.
