I haven't watched any of the other dating type shows so I really wasn't sure what to expect with Outback Jack. The last couple episodes seemed incredibly emotional (especially Jack) Is it the same with other bachelor shows???

I don't recall seeing any of the guys on the other romance shows shedding tears like Jack does. Poor guy's gonna be a wreck by the end of the show.

It's made him a little hard to bash during the summaries. If he isn't angling for an Emmy (Best Faked Display Of Emotion, Reality Show), then this is actually having an impact with him. He's actually taking the eliminations harder than the eliminated parties, and when was the last time you saw that on a dating show?

Maybe it's because there's so little involved outside of the romance angle. He can hope for fame (and will likely get a small degree of it), and endorsements (just not for razors), plus some movie roles (minor parts) -- okay, so he's as big a DAW as anyone else. But within the context of the show, there's no cash prize, no fabulous trips, no brand new car, nothing. The women aren't even getting roses. Without fifty thousand potential tax complications to distract his attention, Jack's free to get overly committed to everyone.

Or maybe he's just that good an actor. Anyone wanna go to the IMDB and look him up?

Ok I got curious and looked Jack up on IMDB. Couldn't find him. He's not listed in the cast of Ouback Jack and I coudn't find him under his real name either.

What is Jack's real name?

He does seem awfully emotional -- I just can't figure him out. At times I feel bad for him -- when he's shedding those tears, but then other times I don't. like last night. I cannot believe his taste in women. I mean, giving Cortney the boot? She was the only cool girl on the show...and his excitement about seeing that wicked Marissa return? He's just dumb. Cortney was both hot and cool, while the rest are just hot. Oh and Maria...best quote..."I mean I basically love the guy..." followed by a dorky yet conniving little snort. Come on Jack.....
