love2smile 194 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Blistex Spokesperson" 05-26-04, 03:38 PM (EST) "Superstar USA on the WB......" Who else has seen this crazy show?? I find it hysterical! It's usually on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm Central. For those who have never heard of it....it's almost like a reverse American Idol.....only they are looking for the worst singers who THINK they can sing. It's kinda mean, but it is so funny watching these people go at it.   Top

I am watching this show- but it is kinda mean- I agree! I can't wait to see how the last episode plays out....do these "kids" really think they can sing? it seems like they are giving 110percent! so...the sad part is how they will be heartbroken when they find out! .....but here I am .....I am watching it! lol...... I think it's the greatest talent show ever in the history of television, but then again I despise AI, Fame, etc... and no I don't have the slightest shred of sympathy for the contestants the level of detachment from Reality required for these people to believe they can actually sing well in the face of all objective standards, leaves me completely unconcerned with their emotional wellbeing on the other hand, that same detachment lets the judges tell the contestants the absolute truth with a completely straight faced delivery, yet know that the contestants will interpret whatever is said in the most ridiculously unrealistic fashion so as to take it as high praise that is the genius of the show, watching the judges tell people they stink but have the contestants so oblivious that and I am loving me some Vitamin C   Top

I heard she has a website where she is trying to start a movement to allow teh viewers to vote on the winner as opposed to the judges. Since the show has already been filmed, that leads me to believe that she didn't win, although making the final 2 seems very realistic. Then, on the othe hand, if she is dumb enough to try to alter the results of a pre-recorded show, maybe she did win and she's too dumb to realize and/or remember.   Top

Anyone who had been trully humiliated like the winner was would not have reacted the way she did - remember the Jenny Jones debacle?? She and the runners up did not react the way a person would if they were totally in the dark that they were being ridiculed. Another piece of proof that "reality tv" is anything but!   Top

Rosa was by far the most entertaining bad singer (though Mario was great too) and clearly Jamie was picked because they knew she was too dumb to be upset about the hoax.
