mindy23 1319 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Beef Jerky Spokesperson" 07-28-08, 08:44 AM (EST) "July 27th-Who will YOU vote for??" Since everyone knows who the final 2 are, there can't be spoiler info here, so I am not going to worry about that... Anyway, thought both the designers did a GREAT job with what their clients wanted. They both finished in just the right amount of time. There was only one (small) meltdown over a sectional sofa-on Jennifer's part. She didn't realize it HAD to be put together a certain way due to the way the sofa was made. But it turned out well, anyway, and I doubt the famiy will fault her for that. Personally, I am voting on who I have liked throughout the competition-who I feel has been fair, has stayed out of the cat fights, has put his nose to the grind-OOPS gave it away! And worked extremely hard to deliver what was asked of him. Although I can't come up with one reason NOT to vote for Jennifer, I just have tons of reasons TO vote for Matt. Anyone else voting, caring who wins, watching next week when they all come back and we get to see Trish and Micheal tear up and rip each other apart??   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

But I'll watch either one of these on a tv show. Both did excellent work on the houses. I thought Matt was extremely kind to give Jennifer the guy (can't remember names for carp!) to help her in the kitchen on the first day. Shows he is a caring person - not just all out to win regardless of others. An unusual characteristic on a contest! Except for Trish, I've enjoyed this season. I like both also for the first couple of episodes. I liked Kim last year but hate her show. That being said, while both houses were nice, neither blew me away. Both final-challenge designs were reasonably good. I thought Matt was a better host and did a better living room and dining room, while Jennifer did a better kitchen. I thought Jennifer's sectional couch decision was a stinker, but at least she tried to meet the family need for a large amount of seating. And Matt's kitchen was bland and unremarkable. With that said, I have no plans to vote for either finalist. This season just wasn't that compelling to me. But I will watch the last 10 minutes of the final episode to see who wins. I like David's show, and actually watch it. (although I get tired of his never ending paintings of muted trees) He got picked up for a second season. "Myles of Style" however is a real stinker and I don't see her being picked up after her "prize' contract runs out.
