I don't know if Janelle buzzed in for the solitary or not. My point was she did not personally sacrifice anything (she's not eating slop and she's not in solitary). You correctly note that she was obviously the fastest at imposing hardship on the others.
I think she may have done more to secure her future in the house by sharing the pain of those who could not enjoy the party. I can't see how she made any friends with that performance. I mean, it's a game right? Whooping it up at a party in a little black dress just doesn't seem like good strategery to me. Go to the party. Mingle. Hang out. But go low key. And, if you want to stay in the game, show a little humility and share the slop.
