Conversely, the darling of this board, Janelle won PoV at the expense of everyone else in the house. Then, she still went to the margarita party while the 4 she served up slop to sat inside. I understand her actions in putting the four on slop. I have a bit more trouble respecting her putting on the little black dress and joining the party.

Seems Janelle made those same scarifices since she didn't win any prizes either. I guess we need to respect her as well as Dani for that...

...but, and I'd have to back and rewatch to make sure, but didn't they show Dani trying to buzz in on the slop and the cots? Dani said she was going to do anything to win the POV to keep the noms the same, and Janie did the same thing, only she was faster buzzing in.

As far as attending the party, she just saved herself in a game where you need to stay in the house to win. I think I'd have gone as well to celebrate that fact, and since everyone else was dressing up for the party, why shouldn't she?

I think she may have done more to secure her future in the house by sharing the pain of those who could not enjoy the party. I can't see how she made any friends with that performance. I understand what you are saying but since when has showing humility had anything to do with winning this game? Has Dr. Will EVER shown humility and share the slop? Many people (and not just here) will say that Dr. Will is the greatest to ever play a reality TV game show and he has never shown humility or been low key...EVER.

Somehow, everyone likes Will. He lies to them, he tricks them, but they love him.

But did she try and go for the solitary confinement? We don't know but yet she gets bashed for not sacrificing anything. Not everyone in the house hates her, or hated her last year. I don't remember any of the guys in either house (excepting Beau and Marc, well and Cappy if you count him, I don't) that hated/hates Janelle. I'm no expert, but I think that says there are some jealousy issues going on, and not something Janelle can work on.

Which is true whether or not she partied that night or not. She knows everyone is gunning for her, so why not enjoy her time there, and have some fun?

It seems to me that Janie is hated no matter what she does.

If she is friendly, they call her fake, if she is thoughtful she's called insincere. If she nominates someone who has talked of wanting her out from day one,( and promises everyoe who will listen that Janelle is "gone") , then it's somehow wrong and "personnal".
If she fights to keep Marcellas off the block, and protects him because he is her friend, he hates her and talks badly of her.
She is blamed for ever nomination, even if someone else is HOH.

If she dares to save herself by winning POV, she caused others hardships ( others who weren't on the nomination block).

She is either dumb, or a B*tch or fat, or all three, depending on who is talking.

Apparently she is blond and has breasts therefore must be hated no matter what she does. I don't understand it, but that is what seems to be happening.
I doubt that anything she did, any hardship she caused her housemates ,could put a bigger target on her back than is already there.

Buggy, you are absolutelly right. No matter what Janelle does, the others view her as the villain, the vixen, the b!tch. What I find interesting about all this Janelle hating is that it definitelly feels like BB6 all over again. Hmm... Who is the only "enemy" that Janelle has had in both seasons? That's right, James. Maybe all the Janelle hatred from last season wasn't all April's doing. Maybe James had something to do with it. After all, he admitted that he told Ivette that Janelle was coming after her on week 1, even though this was untrue. And, we've seen James start a smear campaign against Janey on this season. I watch clips on YouTube and read the transcripts. I don't see what fuels this hatred against the poor girl. The only thing that makes sense is that people feel threatened by her and/or some individuals (namely James) spread negative propaganda about her. That's my perspective and I'm sticking to it. =)

I would agree with everything you said, except I don't understand how that hatred has translated to the posters on the boards.
I get that different people like different players, for lots of reasons. I get disliking certain players, and that everyone has their favs, and that not everyone likes who I do.
But the hatred of Janelle seems so unreasonable to me.
If she wins a challenge she is "cheating", she has dyed hair , so she is fake ( ow many women color their hair? I do.)
People even hate her for her job.

I do think that James has issues, and uses anger to fuel others. He still is mad from last season, and he seems to be turning much of it on Janelle.

Ah, but she did sacrifice something...she, too, is sleeping on a cot (where our darling Marci was shown asleep on a couch) and without hot water.
