weltek 16936 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 06-01-04, 09:54 AM (EST) "The One That Got Away" Anybody watch this last night? Kind of a snoozer, but I'm all about a reality show shoved into two hours. Erin? Ol Skipper was right on...she has this vision in her head of Mr & Mrs Skip making perfect little babies and him coming home from a nice day at the office to mow the lawn. Grace? She's weird. I'm so not getting where this sexy romance thing is coming from. And I understand not really liking kids, but at least TRY to be nice to his nephew. I would've picked the other girl.   Top

"RE: The One That Got Away" I never liked Grace from the beginning so I figured he would probably pick her. But it will never last. I just didn't see the passion. If you took out all the commercials, recaps, previews and credits this 2 hour show was about 30 minutes of new material. And why was this bartender considered the most eligible bachelor in his state? Did all these women really want him?   Top

And the southern plantation setting did nothing for the show, it was like they wanted to save $$$ by filming the show over the state line from the contestants' hometowns. And what the hell was up with filming a couple of the important one-on-one conversations in the middle of a a bug-infested swamp area? Maybe it was my digital signal, but my TV screen was full of nothing but bugs. The producers were two guys who's only previously listed experience on IMDB.com was as producing the syndicated "She Spies" and MTV's "Total Request Live" -- and IMHO the inexperience showed. I almost wonder if Skipper wasn't a close friend of one of the two... -SB   Top
