Morning meeting to set the agenda for the day. Jimmy T doesn't like that Jimmy J is in charge, but everyone else seems fine letting Jimmy J stick his neck out. At the kids tribe, lets get the minorities to the end alliance. Am I the only one wanting Kelly one leg to make it to individual immunity and go on a big immunity run? Back with the old people...are these snail things edible? Holly dumped them out. Less than stable is not the way to keep the tribe happy with you. She needs to release her anger. Fills up Dan (??) Kelly Purple ties it up, Jane finally catches up. Holly and Alina, Alina does it quickly. Kelly bad leg finds the ball before Holly does so gets to the ball bouncing first and catches up quickly. Tied at 1:1 2 balls in for La Flor and now tied 2:2 3:2 Older Tribe 4:2 Older Tribe, Older Tribe wins Immunity. They take the fishing gear.   Top

"Immunity Challenge" They have to crawl through a mud pit to then get to a hay pile to find a ball... which then will eventually get passed from shield to shield to a barrel... This is also for Reward: Either a Tarp, or a treasure chest of fishing gear. Medallion of Power advantage: By giving it to La Flor, you get a ball in the barrel to start the challenge... The Medallion advantage was neutralized quickly, but Espada regains the lead... and they win Immunity! They choose fishing gear for their Reward. La Flor will have a date with Jiffy at TC.   Top

Jill looked at the second clue and deduced that it was 8 yards away from Treemail, and she tells Marty to go get it... which he does with her in attendance... Then we go to La Flor, where NaOnka explained that she sat out to try to expose Kelly badleg possibly using her artificial leg as an excuse... and she killed her leg... Shannon worries about the groupings and is trying to organize the guys to get rid of Brenda... which Chase doesn't like...   Top

Minority alliance wants to take him out, Chase tells Brenda they want her out, not feeling good about Shannon. Alina overhears Brenda with Chase, and now they think Brenda is even more of a threat because how dare she stir things up and try to stay.   Top

"Tribal Council" and question one was to Shannon, who was asked about his first 6 days... he explains that he's not used to camping out... and then at the end of his spiel blasts Chase that if he doesn't get rid of Brenda tonight, that he'll be next on the hit list... which starts an all out war of words the likes of which Jiffy hasn't seen in all 21 seasons... Shannon continues to stick his feet in his mouth, blasting Sash for him being gay... and NYC at the same time, stating that it's full of gays... or at least more of N'Awlins... Each question to other tribemates, Shannon has to stick his two cents in... and he continues to bury himself...   Top

He's never gone camping, finds there is no loyalty. Girlfriend better stay with him. Chase says not girlfriend Shannon calls him out. Chase says torn between two alliances. Shannon goes off about his integrity. Never opening question set off that much whoop-#####. Brenda centered between them...she says weaknesses have been exposed. Fabio doesn't trust Shannon. Shannon says he isn't lying. Jeff: Can you see it not wise to throw it out there like this? My girlfriends better than yours, New York is full of gay people. Trust discussion led by Jeff. Brenda why a target. Not sure why, she is a strong girl, Shannon says everyone thought Brenda a threat. Nayonka thought they were a unit but doesn't want to be in the same tree with Fabio. Fabio tries, but he don't try hard enough. Nayonka can't believe Jeff thinks she is complicated. Tribe begging Jeff to let the vote. Kelly B, what is the criteria, and she says it will be about getting back to unity. And off to vote.   Top

It's still not completely straightforward to me, but if I had to pick I'd say Sash.   Top

The constant in ep 1 and 2 is that Judd is made fun of for unearned reasons, but nonetheless comes off positive. Chase looked ultrawimpy and a pathetic fool for Brenda, a bad edit for this week and maybe the long haul IMO.   Top

"RE: Bitter, Party of one" In the editing thread, I'm pretty sure Michel said Shannon was the narrator for the Younger tribe last week...but I agree with you, there doesn't seem to be a clear-cut narrator for that tribe yet, which I guess befits them. Definitely agree about Chase coming off like a wimp tonight! I am really bummed because I so wanted to like him and root for him...hope he redeems himself. Cannot stand Naonka and don't like Sash either, but at least he seems smart/savvy and the million-dollar smile quote about him made me wonder about his prospects. Right now, Alina, Kelly B. and Brenda seem to be the smartest and most likeable of the younger bunch....but yikes, what a crazy group overall! I guess it makes it entertaining to watch, though. With all the craziness, did anyone have a 'good' edit this episode? Maybe Jill and Marty on the Older Tribe (Jane seemed to fade into the background)...and I guess Kelly B. and Brenda came off the best on the younger tribe.   Top

Benry says in the Insider Clips that he didn't intend to vote for Shannon, but after the TC theatrics he felt the tribe would be better with him gone. And Kelly B. says she had to do it to save herself. (Wonder how Kelly B.'s alliance with Alina will hold up.)   Top
