The Finale is on December 20.If there is a Recap next Thursday, then we're either looking at: Dec. 3: F9 -> F8 TC
Dec. 10: F8 -> F7 TC
Dec. 17: F7 -> F6 TC
Dec. 20, Finale: 3 Elimination TCs (Voting down to F5, F4, and F3), and Final TC. or there is some kind of double elimination on one of the Thursdays so that the Finale starts with F5............

ETA: Just watched the Thanksgiving Thursday promo up at Survivor Phoenix. Russell is the one with the secret. He made 1.7 million dollars last year and we see him telling Mick that. Evil Russell is back at it. We saw some of this in the previews when he lets the chicken go. I wonder if he's been doing other stuff that the editing ignored to focus on all the HIIs. Certainly Kelly and Laura didn't like him, maybe we'll see why.

Weird that there's no Natalie in the promo.Transcript: Announcer: Thanksgiving Thursday, secrets revealed. Russell <talking to Mick> : Last year I made 1.7 million. I own an oil company in Houston. Announcer: New strategies exposed. Dave <talking to Shambo> : We're concerned that you will say something. Shambo <camera confessional> : What am I, seven? Announcer: If you think you know everything about Survivor: Samoa... Russell <camera confessional> : If I find out that somebody knows something about my spot, I'm voting 'em out. Erik: Don't mock me chicken. Jaison <at challenge> : I'm coming for John! I'm coming for him. Russell <camera confessional> : I didn't come here to work, I came here to play! Interesting that they use Russell's cocky hammock confessional shots again.

'Survivor: Samoa': Thanksgiving episode actually worth watching!
The dreaded Survivor recap episodes have long been thought of as, well, turkeys, by fans. But last season’s Tocantins recap turned out to be a decent watch, crammed with new footage and story lines that shed light on some major moves in the game. And tomorrow’s recap episode of Survivor: Samoa (titled “The First 27 Days”) follows that same script. Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s nowhere near as satisfying as an original episode (especially considering there is no fresh torch-snuffing to be had), but for hardcore fans, there are definitely some interesting deleted tidbits sprinkled throughout. Among the things revealed in the episode: We find out what happened to Daisy, the chicken that Shambo let slip out of the coop; a contestant threatens another player after a rough-and-tumble challenge; and there’s even more sneaky sabotage from Russell. All that, plus this genius quote: “Don’t make me throw up on your face.”
