SurvivorBlows 15230 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 07-25-03, 01:49 PM (EST) "Did NBC's 30 minute "Queer Guy" do the show justice?" This was exactly what I was kinda concerned about when NBC first announced this idea, and after seeing it last night, I think the concern was legit. Was it me, or did it seem like the 30 minute version of the show really lost some of the heart of the show? It least it seemed that way to me -- basically they cut the show into 22 minutes of punch lines, with what seemed like a lot more fast-moving sounding background music. -SB   Top

For example, there was a scene in the original when the Fab 5 are demonstrating how Butch should act at the opening with each of them being a different persona. It also felt rushed to me. If NBC does put it in the schedule I hope the do the full hour.   Top
