CSHS79 908 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Fitness Correspondent" 02-26-04, 12:19 PM (EST) "Next Flight to Texas" How many of you think there'll be a run on flights to Texas? IMHO Matt will have his pick of women to choose from,all eager to mend his heart. If I found out he liked much older women I'd be on one of those flights. Even if he doesn't maybe I should go anyway since all the men I"ve seen and drooled over on reality shows all seem to come from Texas.Is there something in the water to make Texans so sexy? Meanwhile before long Ian and Merdedith,I'm sure, will no longer be so in love. Once reality sets in and Meredith finds out all the traveling Ian did was business trips paid for by his company or trips paid for by mom and dad, I think her crush will be over. I say this of evidence on the show, like Ian's proposal. He previously said if he did propose he want to do it privately, must have been before he found out the only way ABC would pay for the ring is if he proposed onscreen. Seems this oh so private man got over that quick, since I'm sure he can't afford the kind of ring Meredith hoped for and like he said he can't disappoint Meredith. I think if they do stay together we'll have another Bachelorette Wedding on tv to look forward to, don't you agree? Looks like to me, Matt really dodged a bullet.   Top

"RE: Next Flight to Texas" matt was alot like Ryan (but without the poetry) there just didnt seem to be any real sparks between he and meredith. maybe Matt will get his own Bachelor show?? also notice how Ian did not say "will you marry me" only "will you"   Top

DH and I are from texas and he's just as great as matt is!! I know lots of guys like him down there and it's all about breeding. Texans begat gentlemen (for the most part) and even if they turn out to be jerks... they know how to fake the nice! I don't like Ian and merdy, but Matthew deserves someone much better. So if those two "think" they're happy... more power to them.. ALSO... meridith should NOT have told matt that she'd be HONORED by a ring from him. That was too much for me to handle. Em   Top
