Gotta get this up early so the east coasters who can only check in from work have a chance to get to it! I won't list all the usual rules, they're still the same, and if you don't know 'em by now, you just haven't been paying attention. So here's how the rules differ: Subject line should list the contestants in the order that they will be booted. For example, if you believe that the contestants will finish out the game alphabetically... ie: Darrah will finish in fourth place overall, Jon will finish in third, and that the jury will choose Sandra as the Sole Survivor over Lil in the final jury selection, your subject line would read: "Darrah/Jon/Lil/Sandra." Darrah has to have at least two guaranteed votes (Ryan O. and Tijauna), and I have to figure that Burton and Jon will still be angry at Lil for little good reason, Rupert and his sheep must not like the betrayal of Lil either.   Top

MB loves to include misdirection quotes during editing, and Jon's guarantee to Thunder Dan that he's Final 3 or Final 2 would fufill this piece of editing. He also said early on that he would last longer than Sandra. Wrong on both counts. Sandra - Yes, I am discounting the bearded man makes F3 spoiler and putting Sandra here, because I'm putting more faith in Jon's foreshadowing comments. Another comment we had was from Rupert, that a Drake would win this game. A Darrah/Lil F2 will refute that statement as well. But we were also given one true statement earlier in the game, when Jon said Sandra would not win the million dollars. If Sandra doesn't win final immunity, she's gone. After all, strict original tribal loyalty would hand Sandra the victory, and that's not a risk either Lil or Darrah would take. Lil made it clear that she thinks Darrah should stick around longer than Sandra because she's nicer, and Sandra did offer Lil her million dollar vote if Lil made F2 (we'll see if she keeps that promise). Another quote is also fufilled here - Darrah's desire to be around longer than Christa and Sandra. Lil - If she hadn't voted with Drake against Andrew, the Morgans may have been able to take control and go to the endgame as a unit. That's reason enough for Ryan and Tijuana to vote against her. Burton obviously feels betrayed, and he and Jon aren't going to reward the ultimate coattail grabber with their votes. Darrah with all of her IC victories would be the lesser evil for those arrogant boys. That's 4 votes against, that's enough, although I think there will be more. Darrah - Congratulations, oh immunity challenge goddess. Unlike your Morgan counterparts, you did not overplay your hand, and thus you outwitted, outplayed, and outlasted everyone else to become the Sole Survivor. Now you can buy your own boob job instead of hitting up Daddy for the money. Edited because of my overuse of the word 'editing'.   Top

"jon/sandra/lil/darrah" jon: barring an immunity win, i think jon'll be the first to go. we have seen numerous scenes with him touting his pledges to F3 and F2, but i don't think he's going to get that far. i think the chica alliance will hold just long enough to get rid of him, if for no other reason that these three women fear jon's "strategic domination" might make him hard to beat in the end, regardless of what a shmuck he's been. plus sandra hates him. (mental note: don't piss that woman off! hell hath no fury like sandra scorned!!) sandra: i just don't see sandra winning the final endurance challenge, as much as i'd like to see her win the $1 mil. and i think whether it's lil or darrah who wins it, they'll choose each other to take to the end. lil: yuck. darrah: darrah was won me over. i've been sick with the thought of her winning throughout the whole season. but over these last few weeks, particularly with her kick-@ss ICs, i've changed my mind -- she deserves to win. with a bunch of over-the-top personalities like rupert, jon, burton, sandra, and andrew, i think the UTR, "meek-and-mild" strategy was a good bet. cannot friggin wait for the reunion show   Top

"Darrah/Lillian/Jon/Sandra" LAST EDITED ON 12-13-03 AT 01:19 AM (EST) but it could be D/J/L/S or J/D/L/S If Sandra wins F4 IC, the choice is either Jon or Darrah. She will probably have to convince Lill that they can't afford to let Darrah have a chance at the F3 IC. Likewise, if Jon wins F4 IC, the choice is between Sandra and Darrah, and he will have to try and convince Lill the same. Somehow I think they convince Lill, and Darrah gets the boot (otherwise Jon gets the boot) ETA one more F4 thought - i wouldn't be surprised by a tie here. If S/J decide D/L can't be broken, I think they would risk even the purple rock to have a 2/3 chance of final 2. The obvious target would again be Darrah as long as she doesn't win immunity (and if it is Fallen Comrades, I don't see either Darrah or Jon winning, so D is a viable target) In a F3 immunity, I think Sandra has got a damn good shot - people kept saying about Burton "oh, no, the strongest doesn't win" to reason a Darrah win, but now they are convinced noone can beat Darrah? It's all about determination, and I don't think anyone can beat Sandra in that department. So I think she wins and takes Jon, either because of a F2 pact, or because she thinks Lill will be too hard to beat Sandra beats Jon 4-3 or 5-2 my best guess on each potential F2 vote: Sandra/Jon 5-2 Sandra/Lill 5-2 Sandra/Darrah 5-2 Jon/Lillian 3-4 Jon/Darrah 4-3 Lillian/Darrah 4-3 DMNW!!!   Top

"Sandra / Jon / Lillian / Darrah" I think that under normal circumstances I'd have voted for Jon to be the first one out with the three chicas sticking together. However, there's a few things that bug me about the way everything's working out. One is the long-time spoiler of a 'bearded man' in third place. It popped up at about the same time as the older woman/younger woman F2, so why should we trust the F2 spoiler that much more than the bearded-man-in-3rd spoiler? I think they're about equally important ... so since I believe in the F2 spoiler, then Jon as the bearded guy in 3rd should fit as well. I see Bebo up above has said she trusts the editing of "Jon in F3 or F2" to be misdirection, but I think it's ambiguous enough to mean that Jon doesn't make F2, not necessarily meaning F3. So, I think one of two things happen in the F4: Jon wins IC so Darrah and Lillian band together with Jon to boot Sandra ... or Darrah wins IC, but Jon has worked his act on Lillian to convince her that she wants to keep Jon as a F2 opponent so they decide to boot Sandra. If it's the latter scenario, then in the F3 IC, Darrah outlasts Jon and Lillian for her fifth straight immunity to remove any doubt about whether Lillian would sit on the fence over keeping Jon or going with the nicer person in Darrah. F2: Darrah routs Lillian 7-0.   Top

"Sandra/Jon/Lillian/Darrah" It's funny how many quotes get misquoted as the Season Progresses. I believe Jon will win the F4 immunity to bring irony to several statements. First, early on, Jon said Sandra is in the alliance but will no way make Final 4. Sandra makes Final 4. Jon told his buddy he is in the Final 2. 3rd would ironically be one short. Sandra says Jon can't win immunity because he's like a girl. Between Jon and Sandra, its personal, and I think we will see them as the showdown for 4th place. Darrah and Lillian have bonded and formed an alliance, and they trust each other, so either Jon or Lillian have to go unless we have a tie (which may be the twist referred to in the misdirection). Sandra says she's not going to let Jon "get" her for a 3rd time or something like that, and he does. Sandra comes in 4th to come home worn and weathered. Lillian has been shown to be wanting to win an Immunity so bad and think she does pull it off at Final 3. She takes Darrah to Final 2 thinking she's being nice and doing what the nice thing to do is, and gets slammed by a possible 7-0 vote. Darrah wins, and for those who think Darrah shouldn't win, look again: Darrah starts out on the Island as comrade of Nicole. As soon as Nicole blunders and becomes a target, Darrah gracefully distances herself. She lays low as Ryan S is the next logical boot. She sees herself a potential target and uses her wiles to have Ryan O save her through threatening Andrew. She pulls through when needed on challenges (gross food, hanging in the air, and stays somewhat humble, and in good character in tribal councils). At the merge, she again lays low, seeing the tensions on the Drakes and allowing Andrew and Ryno to be sent packing. And any time it comes up to asking her if she wants to go home, she doesn't create a fury, thus making it not much fun to boot her and giving one of the superegos a chance to go. She pulls through in Immunity when she needs it. In the scrabble challenge, the others got hasty, and she kept her patience, and won. Same thing in the challenge this last week. Even though favoring her with small hands, she kept her patience as we saw others getting flustered. She doesn't make off like she is there to win. Notice, how she tells Lil and Sandra she would be happy at Number 3, giving them hope that she can be eliminated there. As for her comment that gets mocked, about Jon lying and telling the truth, that was actually when I decided she was a great player. She believes Jon will take her to Final 2 if the situation falls that way, but she makes sure she knows where she stands before making plans.   Top

Yes, the Panama Vacation spoiler has been mostly correct, but not completely: Lil has yet to win an individual challege (fulfilling the "superwoman" spoiler), and I really can't see someone describing Jon as a "bearded man" who takes third. Burton, though, I can see. And yes, Survivor Phoenix has a Lil and Darrah F2, but they haven't been infallible this season (the merge, and the lemming-like alteration of their boot when Snewser threw everyone for a loop). I postulate that the Panama Vacation spoiler gave us the final 3 people BOOTED, not the F3. Plus, Sandra was supposedly an alternate for ASS, and she would likely only deserve that status if she wins. ETA: Also, I seem to remember a comment from Jon that "Sandra will not win the million dollars." Sounds like our key confessional to me. I see Darrah winning immunity at F4, and Sandra convincing Darrah to vote out Lill (since everyone seems to think she's so likeable). Then, Sandra finally shows a modicum of strength at the F3 IC, and takes Jon. Between Sandra and Jon, Sandra wins going away. Besides, as others have said: DARRAH MUST NOT WIN!   Top

This would lead us to the comment earlier on by either JP or MB, that we would cheer when he went down.
