PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Was the original "Put them in a box and tape them" formula just not spicy enough? HoH was a good idea, veto was decent, but the "X" factor was horrible and this new DNA crap? Maybe it's the blinding rage that fills me whenever Julie Chen has to ask at least a dozen "What will they do? How will they react?" lead-ins every five minutes. It's about as annoying as her glitter. However, this year, I'm seriously debating not watching Big Brother (which constitutes one third of my entire television watching a year, the other being Survivor and TAR) this year because of what they're doing to Michael and Jennifer/Nokomis. When I first saw Michael, I was looking forward to bashing him. The big belt buckle, cowbot hat and accent just begged to be gleefully mocked... even though I'm from Oklahoma! However, when I realized what the DNA thing was, I suddenly found myself unable to insult the poor guy. This is just low, CBS, and dirty. They specially research this before hand and realize the possibilities, but these are people's lives. I know they're DAWs and they signed up for the Game, but not this. I think Reality went too far here.

I agree with uniting Michael and Jennifer, especially after Jennifer had said that she had asked her father about having any half siblings and he told her NO,is going a little too far. You can't predict how people are going to react to that kind of news and I feel that is a private matter that shouldn't be flaunted as a great twist on a tv show.

I missed the start of the show, but if they did a thing like that, it encourages me not to watch.
