PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate

be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out

As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."
I know a scientist who wasn't a science major until his intro chemistry class when the professor reviewed the table of the elements by blowing each one up.
My Dad (a chemist) was going to be working with a new catalyst and they took them all out back for a safety demonstration. There was a round bottom flask with a tiny bit of residue on the glass. They attached it to a ring stand with a clamp and lowered it down into a deep hole they had dug. They then sent a small amount of water through a bit of plastic hosing into the flask.
After the mushroom cloud cleared...
They pulled up the ring stand and the glass flask was gone, and the steel clamp was sheared off halfway to the ring stand.
Needless to say, Dad didn't put any of the glassware in the dishwasher.
