PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."
1. The maximum fine would be massive to the 99%, but not Sterling. 2. A lifetime suspension is on the table and would sting a bit more: however, he could probably keep running the team through puppets. Forfeiting draft picks always hurts, but what does he care if he decides to get rid of the team at a massive profit? And removing picks ultimately just punishes the fans. 3. Sterling can be forced out of the league, but the other owners have to vote on it -- and you'd need 23 out of 30 ballots to get rid of him. Given some of the beliefs and practices for the others, good luck. 4. Silver can force him to testify, or at least give him the chance to lie under oath. 5. Pretty much any lawsuit against the league is doomed to fail, but California.
