Randal and Rebecca are ushered into the Boardroom. Randal believes he deserves to work for DT based on his winning record, experience, academic and professional background. Rebecca says he recognizes her loyalty, honesty and she's not afraid to stand up for what she believes, but mostly because she's continued for 13 weeks with a broken foot.
DT says Rebecca should have greeted him or delegated someone to do so. He didn't like the room where Randal held his event. DT tells Randal he raised $11,000. He asks Rebecca why they didn't raise money. George and Carolyn ask why she didn't put as much effort into promoting the charity, Rebecca asserts Yahoo was the client. Randal speaks up that he felt the charity was the client.
DT not as happy with Randal's performance that last 13 weeks. Feels he should have had a list of auction items, the VIPs weren't on stage when introduced so no one could see them. Carolyn wants to know why he didn't check the weather. They finally get Randal to admit he did not have a Plan B.
Randal thinks Rebecca is still young, had a losing record and her team sent her away when they had a chance. Rebecca says Randal's Achilles Heel is overthinking things and spends too much time on little details and doesn't see the big picture. Randal is shaking his head and making noises while she is talking. He now begins to attack Rebecca.
DT asks George and Carolyn what they did right. George thinks they are both stars. Carolyn agrees and give them credit for motivating their teams. Carolyn thought Yahoo was a great event. Randal did well even without a backup plan.
DT tells them both they are brilliant and have great futures ahead of them, then asks them to leave the Boardroom.
