They have to go through a long obstacle course and find letters at each point. Then at the end unscramble the 8 letters. Winner gets the SUV and a day at the spa and meal. Jan is running last at this point. Unscrambled puzzle spells Road Trip. Ted wins. But Brian had said the answer out loud and gave it away to Ted. Ted tumbles on the ground to celebrate. Ted gets to take one person with him. He takes Helen because he said he owes her for keeping him in the game.   Top

They show up at the feast and there is alot of wine and neither Ted or Helen drink. But Helen says it is a once in a lifetime experience so they should celebrate and they open the wine. So Ted could always believe that Brian's vote was hidden and he voted with him for Jan. Remember he said to Ted that he is not sure where Clay, Helen and Jan stand and they may vote together -- putting the idea in Ted's mind that maybe the vote was 3-2 and Brian's vote was not needed. This also gives Jan yet another vote against her in which case she would go in a tie (I believe she now has atleast 3 prob more against her) therefore, if the F4 its Brian and Clay vs Jan and Helen then Jan is done (if old non purple rock rules apply). I called Brian from day one to take this thing and I hope that he does. He has played the game brilliantly.   Top
