PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats, but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are encouraged to read the complete guidelines. As entertainment critic Roger Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Survivor's Chauffeur Driven Away
by Daniel R. Coleridge

"He was working as a limo driver in Flushing, Queens when his tribemates kicked him out in one of those crushing scenes. What was he to do? Where was he to go? He was out on his fanny..." Sorry, we can't resist a nod at The Nanny — even if Survivor: Marquesas castoff Robert DeCanio ain't as cute as fellow Flushing native Fran Drescher.

Last week, DeCanio — aka "The General" — looked very bummed when host Jeff Probst extinguished his torch at tribal council. "Actually, it was the greatest day of my life," he tells TV Guide Online. "No, that's dripping with sarcasm, my brother. It's very depressing to be voted off. It's a feeling of not accomplishing the task you set out to do."

His bitterness definitely came across in his parting shot at Vecepia. "I believe I said she's very deceptive and she's definitely a player in this game," he says defensively. "I really don't think I misstated the facts at any point!" Well, alrighty then. Movin' on...

Need we inquire if this die-hard Survivor fan would return for one of exec producer Mark Burnett's planned all-star editions? "If I was asked," the General enthuses, "I would leap at the chance, because I just think this is the greatest thing ever. Anything they want to throw me on to, I'm ready to test myself once again. I would probably like to go up against all the previous winners."

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old — who's currently seeking voiceover work — hopes to cash in on his Survivor fame and enjoy the good life. He vows that from now on, when he arrives at celebrity events, someone will open the car door for him! "I've always dressed nice," he grins. "I was a limo driver, so I was easily in a suit and tie or a tuxedo everyday. But I think it's time for me to get out of the front seat and hop in the back seat. Whattya say?"
