Dakota 5819 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 02-25-04, 11:42 AM (EST) "Basher Spoiler" For those of us without magnifying glasses and the analytical skills to go one-on-one with spoilers (like yours truly), I thought we bashers could try our hand at it. YOU MUST GO BYE BYE The calm water could represent the justaposition of the turmoil that exists as the tribes fight for survival in this game-changing episode. The boxes on the beach, IMHO, symbolize the latest bootee and the dissolved tribe, remnants of a lost civilization. It's late in the day, symbolizing the upcoming TC and the sky and water are blue, like the losing tribe. Because my magnifying glass is smudged from eating Ruffles while examining this vidcap, I can't tell which tribe is dissolved or who gets booted. Any ideas?   Top

The survivor known for being in the WATER will be going this week. Now, let's analyze....the fishermen of this series are, of course, Rupert and Hatch. The water is blue, and both Rupert and Rich have blue eyes, so that's another clue. There are no visible blurred spots in the vidcap, so I'm leaning toward a Rupert boot this week. That, of course, would be in line with the sneek28 spoiler, but differ from ChillYWon and the Pattycakeagonia info. I'm out on a limb, but anyone who thinks logically can see "RUPERT" wriiten all over this vidcap.   Top

"It's Clear to Me" LAST EDITED ON 02-25-04 AT 12:47 PM (EST) I think that the green of the trees has an obvious significance for the chances of the Mugga Mugga to win the IC. In every other season of Survivor, the darker the green of the trees, the more likely the tribe with a buff that is closest on the color wheel to green will win the next IC. The only exception was in Africa, but there was no green there and the GBW (green buff wearers) theory doesn't seem to hold when most of the players wear their buffs on their heads, color notwithstanding. So, I think we can be fairly sure that Mugga Mugga wins. Now as to the bootee, has anyone any more vidcaps?   Top

If it's a person I think it's either Rich or Rupert because no one else ever goes in the water. I think this is classic misdirection and both Rich and Rupert are safe this week. In the lower right corner there's a blurry area that looks a lot like an 'I', so I think MB is giving us a tip that this week's bootee has an 'I' in their name. Obviously this is Shii An! She selfishly has two 'I's in a row in her name. -BbB I do more to not work than actual work.   Top

(The unclecameraman spoiler of December 28th, remember?) AT the risk of angering a moderator, there's just no excuse for not keeping up with the reading before posting. If you go to the John Raymond website, "Survivors Against Porn Actors Winning the Game" at www.brianheidekisgoingtohell.com, then you'll see that he has some very tantalizing information there regarding Pelican Pete's supposed demise. It seems that when he had a prayer meeting with MB and Jiffy Probe before the show began, they asked him to be on hand in case he was needed. And, what do you know, John resurrects Pelican Pete and the bird re-enters the game as a "Ghost Bird." You just can't rely on the unclecameraman spoilers.   Top

I checked both your sources, and you're right, of course. Please forgive the "newbie". I bought the UCM Spoiler word for word, particularily after he got the first four boots right. Should have known better. I'm just shaken to the core now that he's confessed it was all a hoax. Just to try and redeem myself, I've done a quick analysis of our vidcap, and it breaks down like this: Water fills exactly 72.888% of the screen; 18.435% is trees; beach: 3.666%, and sky 7.2%. Can you guys make anything out of that?? And, BTW, dakota, no one's said it yet, but congratulations on making a great find with the vidcap. It's given us quite a bit of food for thought, although mine should surely be "crow" for buying so hard into UCM! (blushes again)   Top

(Upon closer inspection, it looks like the announcers' booth at a football game, but that would mean Jiffy's leaving and that can't happen.)   Top

Ok, I agree on your boot, but completely disagree with the IC winner. Lex and Colby are both on the same tribe, so it's easy to get them confused. You totally forgot that Colby was in Survivor: Outback. The Australia reference is not just a boot clue but also an immunity clue. Colby is the Immunity winner. He begins his immunity run this week, and takes Jerri with him instead of Amber (thus the confusion about the Rob/Amber F2) to the final 2. Jerri wins the million because Colby is destined to come in second place... except in razor ads.   Top

Ok, Ok, I'm thinking WAY outside the box here, but the old wheels are turning turning faster than I can type! Let's analyze what we have so far: 1. A VERY reliable weight-loss spoiler on Richard Hatch, saying he lost at least 35 pounds this go-round. 2. The rumor/spoiler that someone quits the game, probably this episode. 3. The sneek/ChillyWon picks for Hatch to go this episode. Well, dakota's vidcap brings it all together, don't you see? The message is UNDER the water. And it's Hatch, being attacked by a HUGE shark (probably the Mommy of that little one he nabbed two episodes ago.) The shark bites off Rich's leg (35 pounds...gone!), he quits the game, and ALL our seemingly contradictory spoilers fit perfectly! It's speculation, I admit. But it DOES seem to fit, wouldn't you say?   Top
