I also thought it was weird that the adult sons still lived at home (I'm assuming Randi didn't since it was stated that she came from Arizona). And, boy, did they feel free to knock everything and everyone else! Did you hear a good word from them about ANYTHING? Take a good look at yourselves, Mommy's Boys!
Your point about how Randi should "position" Steve is right on and I've wondered why she hasn't taken that approach (aside from the fact that she's probably too stupid to think of it). She probably knows instinctively that her parents would never buy it--I get the feeling that laughter and a sense of humor aren't valued highly around the Koy household!
