Who do we appreciate?" i have a confession... again... um maybe i shouldn't confess this cuz she doesn't even know... oh, well... here goes. i thought akim was a beeotch meanie before the bar. now? i know she's a beeotch, but i also know it's by choice. and i know she's not a meanie. bar changed my perception of sherps a bit. got me to get to know sleeeve (SB historian) a bit before he disappeared. spent time with HE in there watching xfiles and NHL. ummm... i got into a fight in there one night with slicey, but we kissed and made up. i think we were both cranky and stubborn that day (who? ME???). ummm... i guess everyone i've ever seen in the bar feels more 'real' to me, so that's the Bar Bonus, if you ask me. speaking to ppl in real time in a crowded conversation is a tad different, and kinda sheds light on their seemingly isolated, detached statements on the OT in threads. ~ cq -- stops babbling and lets everyone know she will be in the bar tonight in case anyone cares   Top

I don't know if I'm ready to comment on long-term relationships that I have formed in the past couple of weeks, but I've been really enjoying both bar conversations and red flags in getting to know people. For me, the bar is a good way to see what people are really like and how they think off the cuff. Makes it easier for me to interact with people as well since I often get to threads here late. I have been in there a few times but can't keep up. To many things going on but I will keep trying. My problem is the same as others. You guys go in too late! We should have an early morning session with mimosas and Bloody Mary's. A lot of times I go and check it out and there is no one there or else you are all hiding from me. I've had some really interesting times in the bar. I lvoed playing truth or dare there with a newbie at the time named Mandy which led to a nice friendship. I have enjoyed flirting and just talking about everyday stuff with many of you. HE was fun to watch football games with. I could go on and on, but it has been a great experience and a lot of fun with some nice friendships resulting. I really should spend more time in there.   Top
