"Mo'Nique's Fat Chance"
Has anyone heard about this? I just happened to stumble across this little tidbit. This appears to be the synopsis: "Billed as "cable's first full-figured beauty competi-tion," the show, hosted by Mo'Nique, will take 10 plus-sized women who'll compete for the title of "Ms. F.A.T. (Fabu lous and Thick)" before a panel of experts." I'm sorry, but Tocarra from ANTP was NOT plus sized! IMO, anybody who wears a size 16 or over is plus-sized. (Basically someone who cannot shop at the Gap and tends to buy from Layne Bryant, Catherine's and Fashion Bug Plus) Anybody planning on watching? --Donna :~)

Well, in theory it was a good idea. However, Mo'nique was more than a little annoying. "Work it girl" "Work it girl" was that the only thing she knew how to say?
And I'm sorry, but that one lady with no hair to be in the final 2? What? Since when is bald beautiful on a woman in a beauty pagent no less?
I'm a plus sized woman myself so I really thought I would like this, but they actually made "fat" people look worse than they actually do. There are plenty of oversized people out there who do not eat ding dongs all day long. This show was done in very poor taste.
