I interpreted "it" being Dabs' behaviour, actions, etc., and because of the direction of the thresd, I could see Dabs thinking that you're saying "it" is racism. It's more logical than, say, calling someone racist because they insulted some characteristics of a person who just happens to be black, like what happened here with Estee.
