I agree, michel. Joe didn't truly try to avoid physical conflict. Avoiding means to act in such a way that the situation defuses. It doesn't mean adopting a defensive posture, which is an acceptance that a hit is coming. I really dislike passive-aggressive behavior.They probably didn't want to lose Joe due to the number of players going down, but I expected him to at least get a serious lecture.
