Glad to see that nic is gone now. I think everyone will mellow out and have fun. He shoulda tried harder. This is a once in a lifetime chance and he didn't take it serissly enough. "RE: The Road to Stardom on UPN" Well Tare, don't expect too many responses, but I liked last night's ep. and agree that double-E Eddie deserved to go. Like Missy said, he could rap but not sing or dance, so he had to go. My guess is that Deltrice goes next. Jessica has gotten so cocky and rude, telling Nyline she should have been in the spotlight. Sad to say, I have read that Jessica makes final two. Akil has talent but no style. Nyline would fit right in to the Missy mold, but I doubt she will win. Matthew might fit in, too, but I expect him to get 4th place. My guess is that the final two will be Jessica and Akil, and Jessica will probably win.   Top

"RE: The Road to Stardom on UPN" After last night I didn't realize that Missy was looking for a serious triple threat, however, it doesn't seem fair that Eddie was cut as he has a lot of talent and stage presence. There's no doubt that he can flow and he could dance, although I agree that he wasn't the best when it came to dancing with the whole group but he was movin' when he was on his own. So Eddie could dance and at least he tried to sing, although that's clearly not his fortay. I think the judges are just lost now because they have a lot of talented to people and have no clue what to do. At the same time, Mona Scott is the driving force behind this show and in order to keep the drama alive she has to make people want to tune in. I don't want to get all C...O...N...spiracy on this but it's strange that neither Dallas or Teena are out there when Mona decides to flash the lights on those unlucky two. It's possible that Mona could've changed her mind after meeting with Dallas and Teena and decided to make things dramatic but trying to get Eddie and Akil cut. Akil is THE single most talented person in the group. He can rap, freestyle (which is different), he can dance (mainly freestyle breakdancing), and he can also sing although I don't know if he could handled a ballad or not. At any rate I think he's the best and should win overall, although he probably won't because if Mona and Missy feel like they can't control someone they'll be let go in favor of someone they can mold. I can only hope that our man Double-E gets a chance to come back with someone. Hopefully Missy is cutting a deal with someone else to back him like Dre, J.D., or someone that can get him seen and heard. I definitely don't think we've seen the last of Eddie at all. But something's telling me that Deltrice and Jessica will be the last two standing although Akil should just be able to walk away with this thing now.   Top
