"RE: Interesting" Actually I think their luck was not in the train but when they came out of the tunnel they went the wrong way to find the church. I live in Chicago and where the finish line was as compared to the train made absolutley no difference in the finish. Believe me I watched it over and over and you could hear the bells when the other team ran across the tracks and they were at the finish line before the other team ever got to the tracks. It was just great editing to make it look like it was the train that cost them the race. That aside - I think we are hearing over and over again how lucky R/A are. Through this whole series it has been mentioned a minimum of 1 time each show. To me this screams that they are NOT the lucky team in the final episode.   Top

As anxious as they might be to buy a backpack or supplies, chances are the only place they'll have the time is at the airport while waiting for their flight. If the team leaves the clue at an airport shop, they'll be under pressure to find it before they plane leaves since they have to have it with them when they leave the country. It could be a shopping trip for a task, but they've done the shopping thing already, not likely to be a repeat. I'm thinking Vidcap #15 - Joyce: "I don't know what we're gonna do." might be her reaction to the lost clue? Just for the heck of it ... #4 Just the kind of picture a beauty pageant queen wants broadcast around the world? ;) I remember a spoiler about R/K having a major meltdown somewhere during the race. Try as I might, I can't find the post, but this would seem to be a good place for it to start. If it interferes with their race performance, then the first two teams might just be U/J and R/A.   Top

Are they in PR at that vid cap? This looks to be the sign above Joyce's head in #12. How does this help/hurt the spoiler from RaceyGirl? Also in #12 U/J seem to be looking to thier RIGHT -- can someone blow up that portion and see what they might be looking at? Can you see anyone else in that phot to indicate that they DON"T miss the flight?   Top

"RE: TAR 7 FINALE Preview vidcaps" A couple of things I noticed in the vid caps Romber have the same clothes on in the running with everyone as when Amber slips, I think this is the same detour. Also notice R/K run right past R/A I do not think R/A can win a foot race! Amber in bathing suit when Rob carries her...U & R also have suits on or not fully clothed, so we know this is after the Roadblock of the bridge jumping. So the question is, did Amber get hurt when she fell or is she just tired from the bridge jump? Also they show R/A having trouble and U/C and joyce having trouble but not R/K ` unless you call the non commitment an issue. I think this is misdirection, it tried to make you think R/K win. I think it will come down to R/A and U/J IMO   Top

Could it be that the small building in #17 is actually the top of the much larger structure in #19? This could be the first challenge after arriving in Jamaica. The racers get to the "bridge like" structure by climbing down through the building from above. It's looking more like the bauxite mine mentioned in CindyinSacTown's previous posting. It's not a bridge at all, just a steel span holing up some piping and possibly a conveyor. The platform where the racers jump, appears to be temporary, and constructed just for the race. This was never a foot/car bridge. Ocho Rios appears to have some bauxite mines, but it could be anywhere.   Top

The CBS preview right after the episode 10 (i mean on tv not from the website), seems to show that Amber injured herself doing the detour? So probably the doing of the diving from the bridge made Amber incapable to run or even walk quickly. Thus Rob has to carry her. But still.. like u said, U/J were leading the other two teams in the roadblock. Since we assume that detour is always first b4 roadblock, and U/J in NEL, that means that the time difference between the first and last place for the final leg wont be of much difference, would it?   Top

They look very happy in the airplane shot as if they know they have a lead. Also, after someone mentioned how the airport looks more crowded in the shots with R/A then U/J or R/K, I've gone back to those pictures and it makes me think R/A are well ahead of the other 2 teams. And by the way, during the F1 coverage, CBS had new shots from the finale and we do see a golfer. The picture was too quick so I couldn't tell who it was but it does seem a golf challenge is coming. If so, if it is more crowded when R/A are there (which I am not even sure of), that could indicate they are pulling up the rear rather than being ahead. "Speculation" Okay, from what I can make of everything here most peeps are assuming that the next leg of the race takes them from London to Jamaica, where the teams jump off the bridge, do the rafting, and also get a flat tire, and are pulled over by the police. We know that at the end of all of these tasks that U/J will indeed come in last, and that it's a non-elim leg. This leg probably ends in Puerto Rico. The next leg begins at the Puerto Rico airport where Racey Girl got her pics of U/J and R/K. With U/J losing all of their money and possesions, and with no sighting of R/A, I can make a deduction that R/A probably ended the last leg in first, giving them enough of a lead so that they indeed catch the earlier flight. With R/A getting the earlier flight and with U/J losing everything, I just cannot see how U/J can be set so far back and then turn over everything to end in first....competing against such strong competitors as R/A and R/K. The only possible way that R/A could lose, imo, is that they forget the clue in the bookstore and proceed without it, and when they reach the mat Phil tells them that they have to have that so must go back......this way R/A aren't not beaten by anyone else, they beat themselves.... All speculation that I still don't buy, imo, R/A are WINNERS here!   Top

We had a spoiler at the very beginning of this season saying that they play golf and that 2 teams were way ahead of the third team. Many specualted that this must be M/G especially since there was a rumor they were in the final 3 for a week - I think it's not. The person said that neither of the first 2 teams were R/A but that one team was a young couple like R/A (or something to that effect). Now per KO - and I think she knows - Rob is an avid golfer - which I think is going to make him made when he cant do it as he has already done 6 RB (assuming the golf is a RB) We have what seems like U/J finishing their boat trip while R/A are just beginning theirs. They have to put the boat together and raft and then come back. IMHO U/J are way ahead of R/A at this point in the race. I think this is the 2nd part of the race - after they had been mugged by Phil. Not the first like everyone else thinks.   Top

This makes me think the racers must go up the hill first to get the clue then come down to the rafts.   Top

When the preview aired, it looked like she slid awkwardly when she fell onto the raft (#20). This could (temporarily, at least) make it tough for her to run. If this is the last task before the non-elim pit stop, then I could see Rob carrying her. But while an ankle turn may keep her from running temporarily, a pit stop would give her the chance to prop it and treat it, so she'd probably be all right for an end run. "If there was ever a time you wanted permission to run over a clown . . . ."   Top

If you look there is a man wearing a white shirt standing to the far right, which by the way he is standing looks as though he may be the person they have to get the next clue from, then there is a man with a shirt off and looking back and it looks like he might be headed to the man on the right. Is there anyway anyone could enhance and zoom in to see who it could be? If this is the case then the picture of U/J running off the rocky beach could mean that they are ahead of R/K, meaning that they have finished their task when R/K are just finishing up putting the raft together. "RE: TAR 7 FINALE Preview vidcaps" LAST EDITED ON 05-10-05 AT 08:31 AM (EST) AOL Reality TV Site has a video preview up here: http://tv.channel.aol.com/styles/realitytv.adp?hid=NY54362%7cX%7c2% It shows the teams racing to the bridge structure, looks as though Ron gets their first, says, "Dang, it's windy up here", as he's running across the top of the structure, then we see Uchenna running on it and he just grunts, then we see Romber running across country, stopping and we hear Rob saying, "Where's Ron", then realizing that they are going the wrong way, he turns and says, "Amber, you've got to jump off the platform", as he sees it, and then says, "Come on!", and they take off. Then we see Ron plunging into the depths of the water.... So it appears that Ron will be first off, then Uchenna, then Romber....but the editing could be tricky. Uchenna may have completed this task after Romber....we don't know what order that Uchennna and Amber complete the task, but it's obvious that Ron is off first! So, that answers the question as to why Amber can't run anymore. They were running and running before the jump, had to turn and run more, race to get up there, jump, swim, then run somewhere else. So, is the bridge jump in Jamaica or Puerto Rico, and is it the first roadblock after London? If it is, the final roadblock will come down to all three of the ladies. If it is the initial roadblock after London, it's misdirection that Romber will place last, as we know that U/J will be last in the non-elim leg.   Top
