OK, is this enough to prevent any spoiler info from showing up in the "Topics" list? Must be, right? The vote for boot started things off, with Julie reflecting on the changes in Will's relative popularity. Then... Krista voted to boot Kent. Monica voted to boot Kent. Nicole voted to boot Kent. Bunky voted to boot Kent. ...and even Ophelia (oink!) probably wanted to vote to boot Kent. Bye, bye Kent! Nicole cries. Crocodiles all over the U.S. laugh at her phoniness. Kent wanted to talk about the banners, especially one from yesterday that criticized Hardy. Julie tried to cut him off, and he talked right over her objections. Then he criticized all the others as weirdos for "swilling Nyquil to get a buzz" (apparently Krista) and "having their private parts pierced" (Guess I missed the good parts -- anyone see this so far?) Clearly they made a good decision to boot this boob; six left! All but Hardy get to compete for HoH. No questions; it's "slide the key" -- closest to the back end without going over the back line wins. Will goes first and is pathetic. Monica sends it over the back line. Krista gets a decent slide (finally!). Nicole does better. Bunky collapses in a quivering heap of lard and loses to both women. Nicole wins HoH. So...who will Nicole nominate? Bunky, naturally, for one. For the other: Krista? Edited to add: Mumbo Jumbo, anything to add? Like IceCat and Outfrontgirl, I was also impressed with your objective midweek summary...   Top

"NicHole's Nominees" LAST EDITED ON 08-10-01 AT 10:50 AM (EST) At one point Free Willy and NicHole were standing at the kitchen sink and I could swear she whispered to him that if either win HOH they should nominate Fuzzy Wuzzy and Mon"dont piss me off in the morning"ica. Did any one else catch that? Do you think she was playing him or has she leaked her nominees? I agree with AK that Fuzzy Wuzzy is for sure but I, like AK, figured Krista would take the second slot instead of Monica. There are two types of people, predators and prey, and the sound you hear is the sharpening of my claws.   Top

"Live feed" On the live feed last night, Nicole told Bunky that everyone wanted him out, but she wasn't going to nominate him. He promised never to vote her out. Looks like Nicole is going to break up the Krista-Monica alliance the old-fashioned way: by nominating them both.   Top

I've been thinking about what is best for Nicole and I definitely think nominating Krista and Monica are the answer if she can do it and still keep Hardy's friendship. Bunky's not a threat to win but if she can get Krista out, then Nicole would be the closest to both Hardy and Will and can probably slide right into the finals. The problem is that if these two are nominated, it's probably Monica that goes. I can't see Hardy voting for Krista nor Will, unless Nicole makes a deal with him. The deal with Will could be that she doesn't nominate him if he's willing to vote out Krista, hmmmm. Part of this may be wishful thinking because of the ones left in the house, I want Krista to win the least. Seeing her planning on screwing over Hardy just confirmed my initial low impression. By the way, I did hear Nicole talking to Will about nominating Bunky and Nicole on the last show. But that was hours ago.   Top

She wants Monica gone. So she was planning to nominate Monica for awhile. She couldn't nominate Bunky and Monica because Bunky would go. Will and Monica - Will would probably go. Hardy - not an option. That leaves Krista. She's confident that Monica will be the one voted out. And if not - no big loss Go Nicole!! Survivorchick   Top
