SilverStar 6205 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 06-25-07, 02:04 PM (EST) "Tracking the styles" I thought it would be good to keep track of which styles the dancers do each week. I remember last year thinking that Benji got an awful lot of Hip Hop, and Travis got an awful lot of ballroom. Let's see if they spread things more evenly this year. I even made a purty graph! Woo! Also, why were there two Hip Hop routines the past two weeks?? There are tons of dances that could be thrown into that hat. I haven't particularly liked that aspect so far this year. So the contemporay dancer with something else I counted as contemporary group. For the dances I counted jazz in with the contemproary and disco and broadway as other. I calculated the percentage as there are different amounts of dancers in each group. So this is First Dance with the type of dancers across the bottom and the four categories of dance as the different colored bars. "Week 4" Some general observations: Lacey/Kam and Pasha are the only ones to have not done hip hop yet. I really hope Lacey/Kam get it next week because I think it will be something that finally allows Kam to be in the spotlight. Pasha has had ballroom for 3 out of 4 weeks. All different styles of ballroom, but still... I'd like to see him do something less partner-centric for a change. We all know he's great at partnering, we need to see how he fares on his own. He better get something different and challenging next week. I love Pasha and I want to see him really mix it up. Everyone else (besides Danny, who also has 3 ballroom) is pretty evenly spread out in the styles they've done. At least Danny is out of his comfort zone with ballroom though. I just feel like Pasha has been given an unfair advantage. From here on out, we will probably see much more duplication in the styles because it will be harder to keep things evenly spread with the partner shuffling. "Week 8" Only 1 more week to go! - Not that it matters anymore, but Pasha never got contemporary and he had some form of ballroom for 5/10 dances. - Neil is the only one of the final 4 who has gotten a Wade dance. I was surprised when I realized that Wade has only choreographed 3 partner routines this season. The Vagabond Cabaret, the Hummingbird, and the Angel/Devil. Everything else he's done has been group numbers or the solos. - Sabra is the only one who has not had a Mia dance.
