I usually stay away from them because I like to be surprised, but I was checking out rickey.org and came across the pairings and dance styles for tomorrows show and was too curious to resist. Read no further if you don't want to know!

Wow.
Argentine Tango in week 1?
Ouch. Ashlee and Ricky should start planning their "Dancing for their lives" routines now. I'd say pretty much the same thing about the Smooth Waltz, but I'm pretty sure Pasha will be able to nail it. Enough to make Jessi look good too. Jive with Anya/Danny sounds very ... um ... unlikely to go well.
With their backgrounds it could be a horrible failure. But the one that gives me the greatest concern... Faina and HipHop? Uh-oh! Cedric is not good enough to carry them both through. On the plus side we have Hok and Jaimie's HipHop to look forward to. And probably Shauna and Jimmy's Broadway too. Interesting couples all in all.
Lacey/Kameron. (They really are trying to make her look good, aren't they?)
Pasha/Jessi and Lauren/Neil. Hot couples. Hope they come with the hot connection as well.

unbelievable. Wade's routines are always vote-getters and Neil really nailed that character. It was a joy to watch because of him, just as long as you could ignore her and I rewatched it to do just that. I'm not sure if my distaste is unnatural or if it is somehow warranted but I don't care. I can't stand that chick and I will be so sad if we lose yet another great dancer so they can keep her. For whatever reason they feel like they need to keep her. Is her father some kind of gangster maybe? Luna, I don't see how they could not have Danny for the tour. And Pasha. So that leaves Dom, Hot, Neil, and Kam. I don't want to see any of the guys go, frankly but if they needed to get rid of one of those four, I think it'd be okay. It would be a shame to see Neil go before he got to dance with somebody a little more worthy though. And, of course, it would be sad for me if my little birdy left.

qwerty - heh. I seem to make that mistake almost every time I type out his name.  supahstah - okay. So who is keeping them out of B3? *twitch* I like the contemporary dancers (as you know) so I think it will be nice to see Neil dance a Mia routine. If I'm only allowed to have one contemp male, I'll pick Danny by a freakin mile though. I'm thinking about the tour. (Is there going to be one this year?) And they haven't had any routines that I would be sad to see not showcased there. You know? I love me some Mia though so I am interested to see how he/they does. If Lauren can't do this, and I suspect she can't, they need to cut her loose. Rig the votes if need be. It won't be the first time, I'm willing to bet.
I won't go see the tour so I'm not even sure why I care. hee.
I'm sorry to hear Kam isn't going to nail the hip hop. I can't say I'm surprised though because, as I said, I don't get that he is a hip hop dancer. Can't picture it.
I guess one reason, and it's a good one, to keep Hot (and Jaimie) around is because of that AWESOME jazz Wade routine. That should be on tour.
That being said, a good reason to keep Kam around is because of the contemp routine (was that week 1?). That was good stuff. That should be on tour too. ~though I do think Danny could pull of his role in it better than he did. {/bias}~ but it'd be a shame to not have that cutie on tour dancing around with his starry hair all shiny and nice.
yeah. Sara can go. I know she's played up as a bgirl or whatnot but she's just really not that good in that area. IMO of course.

Dominic & Jaimie - Viennese Waltz (Hrm. I don't have a good feeling about this.)
Danny & Lacey - Samba (Should be HOT!)
Neil & Sara - Disco (The disco of death! Hahaha. Can't say I'm sorry for either of them.)
Pasha & Lauren - Hip-Hop (Pasha finally gets hip hop, but yikes for the Lauren partnership. He really needs to prove himself this week.) Each person will also perform 2 solos, one of which is choreographed by WADE! Apparently, all of the Wade solos will be the same. Not sure yet how I feel about that. My first reaction (much as I love Wade) was not good. I mean, I know Wade is a genius and all, but what's up with this sudden change of format? I don't think the presence of Wade! this season is reason to change everything. And how boring will it be to see the same solo done 10 different times?? OTOH, it will be much better to be able to compare them all, since they will all be doing the same thing. But, still, I don't think I like this idea. I'm holding off on more comments until A. I get more detailed spoilers and B. Of course, until I see the show for myself! ETA-- it's now being reported that the only solos will be the ones that Wade choreographed. If this is true, I call bullshit! The solos are supposed to be the time where the dancer shows us what they can do in their own style. If they want to show what they can all do with choreo, then why not have 2 partner dances like in years past?? Ugh. I didn't even like the Wade solo idea when it was included with their own solos, and now it seems it will be the only solo? *barf*And with that, I'm retiring for the night. Hopefully I will wake up tomorrow and these spoilers will be completely refuted!

My thoughts:
WTF is "Latin Jazz"? That could be interesting.
Sabra and Pasha get 2 kiss of death routines? Ouch.
And of course, the dreaded Argentine Tango. I hope this one is better. I don't know if QPie can take much more.
Dom gets another Rumba. There is no way that he and Lauren are going to have the same chemistry that he and Sabra had. NO. WAY. Looking forward to seeing him Krump though.

No, they couldn't do a live show on Monday, as that would have mucked up the dancers 5 day rehearsal schedule for the finale, as well as the shooting schedule for the production staff. I don't think they would have told the dancers privately, as that would have spoiled their reaction on the day of taping. Lets just hope someone who is at the taping this afternoon, comes out somewhere with some spoilers. I went over to the official site boards this morning, where the target demographic for this show post like mad on Thursdays (shudder) If the teenybopper posters there are any indication, Pasha is the guy they want gone, but it's a toss up between Lacey and Lauren. Most of the "who did you phone for" threads were for Neil and Danny. Which kind of tells me that a man will win this competition yet again, since the target for this show is really geared for adolescent, hormone driven, moon struck girls. lol

Cat actually announces that they are kicking us out and they taped us leaving the studio. Waste of time. No performance from an guest artist either. All I saw was the pre-taped group number, a random African guy dancing, Lil-C and his boys doing some krumping, and the solos. The group number was choreographed by Wade Robson and had a swamp theme with nets and grass. They taped all 3 girls being declared safe separately and then all 3 guys being declared safe. We have to tune in on Monday to find out who was even really safe and who was in the bottom 2. I can't believe they kicked everyone from the audience out! Cat actually announces that they are kicking us out and they taped us leaving the studio.What I find surprising is that they find it surprising. After all we know that the producers (or more likely the interns) read various boards. The producers have to know that 5 days of who won/lost being posted all over the internet will reduce the ratings on Monday (and they probably will have problems being on the wrong day as it is with that). Also I think they usually police the fox.com boards to delete spoilers and they figured if anyone knew the results the peeps moderating that board would be dead by Monday's show. While part of me wants to know now, part of me is glad that they did it that way.
