Yes, it depends a lot what partner and how well they do with the choreography they get. A bit of magic with the partner makes a difference. Argentine Tango by DaSilva.Some sort of pretzel move. And a clipboard to help Sara know where to kick. Whatever Lola Wants is the song. He is in a dark suit with open shirt and she in hot pants a bra top and thigh high boots with a red fan stuck into the top. He sets her down and does a solo spin. Isn't that a no no in the middle. Pretzel was cool. He ends fanning himself. Adam, what does the wiggled eyebrows mean. This was un-beeping-real that was so beeeping hot. He said beeping. Sara you are the most transformed on the show. Danny you probably have the best center I've seen and the best male dancer on this who. Not sure how butch the thing with the fan was. I could not have been more proud of you. Mary. Wow those are some hot boots. The begining was out of sight. It is not just doing the pirouette it is how you come out of it. The Gaucho kicks have to be done just right. The flip at the end was not something that is an Argentine tango, but I loved it. Nigel it was very sexy tonight, I would have liked to see more in your face Sara. I loved the pretzel. For people that don't know a center is that is how you balance, it was ridiculous what you did. Stunning. It doesn't matter to me if that is what they would have done, they wouldn't have been capable.

Krump with Lil' C.He thinks she looks so good it will make him look less attractive. I Get Money by 50 Cent. In baggy shorts and loose tops. Nice lift segment but it could be crisper than it was. Adam. Damn. That was really hot, the thing about krumping is all character and explosion that you hadn't done this you were good Lauren. For what you were doing you got two thumbs up from me. Mary. The first half had all the energy and it started to die in the middle. This is hard hitting, and you were ganster. Nigel I don't know much about krumping, and we need a line between krumping and hip hop and I didn't get the increase bump up. It was tuneless and not rhythmical. It is amazing there were so many good movement. Were you meant to fall off his back? No.

Latin Jazz by Maria Tores.WTF is Latin Jazz?!?!?! Doing a crazy lift, will we have another fall?!?!?!? Acid by Ray Barretto. Neil, it is PANTLESS Wednesday not shirtless, sigh. Lacey in a red and yellow dress. They survive the lift. Adam. I have a feeling that if Neil gets a lot of votes it will so you think you can dance in the nude. There is good new and some hmmm news. The great news is I loved it you are beautiful dancers. Lacey it is just a bad habit, you look out and you don't look at your partner. Neil you were really focused on her and this needs to be closer in. Neil be careful of levels, everything was at 11. Mary. The chemistry is just not there for me at all. It is a forced chemistry. Neil wasn't looking at her when you rolled her from side to side. That looked just awkward. The Cha Cha part the positioning was all wrong. There was some really brilliant dancing as well. Overall it just didn't grab. Adam says he doesn't believe they want to tear into each other. You are all good dancers and it is performance. Nigel. Loved the music and the choreography. Didn't love you, it was too high and you needed to get down and be more passionate, no chemistry and you danced it like two dance school pupils and that is so wrong. Lacey you can do the sexiness of Latin better than this and other than the shirtless there was nothing sexy, especially for us guys. Cat asks them if it is hard to find the chemistry. Neil says he was happy and it wasn't hard.

Broadway with Tyce Diorio.Sabra talks too fast for Pasha. Lots of running around in this routine. A wild wild party (off Broadway cast). She is in leopard print top and mini skirt. He is in black with suspenders. Well it was OK, but I think I could do most all of that choreography Adam. Cute kid with sign. I didn't think I was going to like it. These kind of numbers need a giant chorus of people, but I got really drawn in. I got surprised and I saw what I've been talking about which is character and performance. Pasha you were great but the bad news is Sabra was a revelation you were mind blowing. Mary. Sabra is always a revelation, but Pasha you were for me tonight to. I loved all of it, let me talk about what I don't love...Nigel. Gets a Mary Scream. Nigel was she just rude to me. The choreography forces you to perform and forces us to be happy. Thank you so much for a wonderful performance, and I'm sure you'll be with us next week.

Danny loses his beret. Adam. What did you guys do to the wardrobe department, you were punk'd. Nigel says sesame street not ghetto. Adam says they were awesome. In terms of the competition you are the most versatile couple. Be nice to wardrobe. Mary. I don't think they have any choice. The dancing didn't' do it for me. You are both my favorite, you weren't hittin' it hard enough and you were too cute. Nigel, you need to bring it every time. Sara this is close to your style, you have to to help him. You didn't achieve it together.

I didn't think it was that bad. I thought the dancing and costumes were a fun throwback to the late 80s/early 90s. I mean, they did part of the Hammer dance! I enjoyed it more than the krump routine earlier.

Tony Meridith Rumba.Dom has to wear heels, poor baby. Ain't no Sunshine Bill Withers. Lauren in a coupler of blue rags. Dom in a black shirt and pant. *yawn* again it looks like I coulda done those steps. Adam. I think some chaperons better keep their eyes on these two after the show. After all your b-boy friends scrape their jaws off the ground they will be proud. Lauren you are so beautiful and you had the chemistry we've been talking about. It just didn't look like a rumba to me. Just a lot of posing and lines. Wanted more dancing. Mary, that isn't their fault, it was quite a different rumba it did have beautiful lines, there is usually a little more dancing in and out of those. There wasn't enough hip in the walks and not grounded enough. It is a little bit mixed, and not enough sunshine for me. Nigel. Well we started by knocking wardrobe, they did a beautiful job here, where there is a dress it is beautiful, and he likes Dom in black. To the dancing. Dom first and foremost congratulation for being in character and I agree the hips and the stepping were not doing it for me. I wouldn't have known that was a rumba, they are making you guys look good with what you can do, they are not taking you up to what they are capable of, the real style and choreography. If you get through you've got a tough week . The choreographers are nodding and chomping at the bit.

You guys, I am so in love you were acting an entire world and performing an entire piece, this will go down as a great dance performance on television.
Neil unbelievably beautiful, your center was wonderful and I didn't care because the performance was so good. Mary. All sniffly, Nigel says: Mary is going through a personal time so forgive her. Nigel Mia is an Emmy nominated for the park bench, and he is honored to be on a show where she did this. How anyone can imagine a meeting like this to take away from all technique and dance as those no one was watching that was the magic of that routine, you forgot about technique and danced with emotion. I am hugely touched. They thank Mia for the dance. I coulda done without the flower in the mouth during the phone number thing.

Doing the Quickstep by Tony MeredithMr. Pinstripe Suit by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Dear lord that suit is loud, she in a matching dress. Adam great choreography and great job. What is really cool is you guys had a great use of the stage Pasha sometimes your posture was off. Sabra you freak me out you are so good. He bows to them. Mary, that looked pretty typical quickstep. That was a very difficult routine. You know Pasha is an international latin dancer and you guys just tore this up. That is the great thing about dancing you guys just cheered me up. Pasha your top line was phenomenal and Sabra that split job and your top line and you don't even know what that is. Nigel, we needed something like that and we got it. You used the stage you readjusted your center and I don't think anyone noticed, but I am there to spot it. Put that together with your routine earlier and you are the best couple of the night for me. Sabra says it was her biggest fear, and glad to do something so challenging, and I couldn't have done it without Pasha.

That was good. Of course, I'm a sucker for the quickstep. I don't think it was quite as good as the judges want us to believe. I seem to remember Apolo & Julianne's on DWTS was much more enjoyable to watch.

So why is it that the ballroom and latin dances rarely have much content? Really irritates me. When Nigel brought that up and said they were going to ask the judges to step it up, I wondered why they hadn't already been doing that! This was the top 20! Sheesh.
