PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"Danny and Lauren backlash" |
LAST EDITED ON 07-12-07 AT 09:36 PM (EST) Considering the sensitivity of both Lauren's admission that she has an Asian alter ego, "Misha Chan" and Danny's NY Times article. Are they edited poorly, or is this by design?
Was the Times article SYTYCD bashing, or just hateratin' Nigel?

2. "RE: Danny and Lauren backlash" |
LAST EDITED ON 07-13-07 AT 09:58 AM (EST)I dunno that the article makes Danny look that bad. It mostly come across to me as a "Dance Snob's" take on SYTYCD. I mean how dare they put on this show, how dare they even let hip hop (and probably ballroom, although it isn't stated, I think that the article was clear that only Ballet is worthy of being called dance) and most importantly how dare they and America not just give Danny the title and actualy force him to compete with the *sniff* other yahoos on the show with dances and votes and all that low brow stuff. Most importantly how DARE a talent show be good enough/popular enough to make dance high profile enough that a Demi-God like Danny would think it even worthy of his time and effort. Only dance that critic thinks this is worthy enough should be allowed at all doncha know. If you haven't had 15 years of ballet clasees you shouldn't even be allowed to move to music at all. *sigh* Summertribe and the living is easy!
