SPECIAL WEDNESDAY "APPRENTICE" FEATURES THE RETURN OF BILL TO THE BOARDROOMA SPECIAL WEDNESDAY "APPRENTICE" DISHES UP DRAMA AS CANDIDATES FEED ON THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS WORKING WITH ZAGAT SURVEY (SEPTEMBER 29, 9-10PM ET)
BILL RANCIC, THE FIRST "APPRENTICE", RETURNS TO THE BOARDROOM...THIS TIME ON THE OTHER SIDE
NEW YORK -- September 28, 2004 –- The knives are literally out on episode four of NBC's "The Apprentice" when candidates are assigned to staff, design and run a Manhattan restaurant (Wednesday, Sept. 29, 9-10pm ET). They have two days to get the restaurant fully operational and then one night to open for business. The team whose patrons grant them the highest Zagat Survey ratings will win. Zagat Survey ratings take into effect Food, Decor and Service, all weighted equally.
One team struggles with design problems and a difficult project manager while the other team really begins to gel as a unit and comes up with a creative way of using sex to sell. In this episode, Bill Rancic, the first "Apprentice" winner, returns to the boardroom in place of George Ross and ruthlessly demonstrates why he is working for Trump. Carolyn Kepcher loses her patience and a major alliance is broken.

"Zagat Survey's reviews are based on the collective opinions of real people and, like our typical surveyors, the diners in this episode are brutally honest," said Nina and Tim Zagat, co-founders of Zagat Survey. "Running a great restaurant is about much more than good food. What these teams learn is that hospitality and atmosphere are key ingredients to success in this business."
