*yawn* Oh... this is the finale? Hmmm... I bet Randal wins! ...and if somehow the stage opens up and swallows him whole or the rain at the ball field washes him away before Donald makes the announcement and Rebecca gets the job (because that's the only way she will)... (dare I say it?) I vow to stop watching this show!!! I'm serious this time! Yep!

Rebecca has her team call comedy clubs to find an act to replace Joe 'Juice' Piscopo. The guys are making backup contingency plans on who will be emcee. It's raining on Randal's parade. They are rushing to the stadium to put tarp on the ground to at least salvage some of the event. The rep from Autism Speaks calls Randal and is concerned. I'm concerned too, having seen the talent Capital Edge chose to emcee their event. What did they do, accept the first person who was available? (Probably) He's more than a little creepy. The stadium is a swamp, and it's still raining. There is no way to play, plus it's more than a little grody for the sponsors. Randal decides to move the event inside to the clubhouse. They are doing away with the Silent Auction and concentrate on the Live Auction. (Trust me, that's where the big money is, anyway.)

21. ""Responsibility"" |
DT's lesson of the week: things go wrong, nothing you can do, but a good leader will step up and take (wait for it)..responsibility.Rebecca working on the goodie bags. Toral has the idea of putting donor cards and brochures in the front of the bags so the big money guests can make donations. (Donor cards never work unless guests are clued in in advance.) Randal and team meet with the CEO from Outback and the radio personality who will be the auctioneer about the change in plans. Due to space constraints, VIPs will be admitted first, then first-come, first-served for general admission folks. (Given the rain, I'm guessing 3 people show up. Okay, four. The Weavers. They will begin searching the seats for their clue.) Alison from Autism Speaks is concerned that the message will be highlighted. Randal runs down how many times the charity will be mentioned. Randal hasn't considered a podium or a sound system. Coming up, the fired candidates 'have a lot to say'. (Meaning, they will each be permitted a four-word sentence. Except Markus, who no one will understand anyway.)

What, you want me to list them all? Feh, visit the website. DT brings them into the fake boardroom and then we go back to the 'action'.Capital Edge has Yahoo signage as folks come in the door, a nice little VIP entrance. Many purple and white Yahoo signs, one little Elizabeth Glaser sign. Meanwhile, back at the stadium, the Outback CEO has more than a little bit of OCD and fretting where Randal is. Alison from Autism Speaks is freaking about where donations checks will be put so they don't get lost. Randal pleased his team is solving problems without his supervision. Randal is greeting the celebrities. Ooo, there's Sugar Ray Leonard. Jerry O'Connell. Carson from Queer Eye. Big names, people, these are big names. Back to Capital Edge. There's way too much emphasis on Yahoo, only one mention of Elizabeth Glaser Foundation. Carolyn thinks Rebecca may have missed the point of the event. Carolyn isn't smiling, and when Carolyn isn't smiling, DT isn't smiling. He sure isn't smiling as he gets on his helicopter to fly to the stadium. DT at least calls Randal in advance, and Randal runs outside to greet him and talks while they walk.

Well, as I assume that at least a portion of the success is how much money is raised, I'm thinking I should have just loaned Rebecca one of my shotguns. It would be less painful. ('Course, it doesn't help thay Yahoo! - who admits having never done a charity fundraiser before - doesn't want any overt fundraising done. What!?)

30. "Finally, The Events" |
The time has come to see which charity event tanks. First up, Randal, who opens the event with a moving speech about autism and the need for support and donations. Mark calls Randal a 'rock star for autism'. However, the natives look a little restless. He needs to wrap things up and get the party started. Randal brings DT to the podium, keeps his comments short and sweet. The emcee begins introducing the celebrities. Jerome Williams is in the house, didn't see him enter. Ah, the Live Auction has begun. Autographed Sugar Ray Leonard boxing gloves go for $3,000. That's all we see. So much for any controversy whether DT agrees with Randal's change in plans. Moving on to Capital Edge. The Yahoo woman wants to know what Yahoo items were included in the gift bags. Rebecca tells the ladies the gift bags will be at the door when people leave. Remember the donor cards are in the goodie bags. Anyone want to guess how many will be returned. (Over/under is 1.5%. It doesn't work. You have to get them while their behinds are still in the seats.) DT calls Rebecca from the limo to say he's on the way, will she impress him? She assures him he will be. Yea, we'll see.

34. "Making The Boss Happy" |
(Live) DT tells the audience to always treat your boss with great respect. He wants to see how Rebecca treated him. DT hopes Rebecca does a great job with the event, because the place is hard to find. Rebecca is greeting the VIPs. Her team is going over the order of events, the comic and his agent have issues with other people being on the stage. Ah, DT has arrived. Rebecca does not greet him at the door, she offers to show him around, and asks him if he would like to say a few words (rather than having a schedule ready for him). DT says a few words then welcomes everyone to join him downstairs, 30 minutes before they were ready to begin. She sends Chris to have the comedian come downstairs to start the show, sends Toral to find Jake Glaser so he can make comments. The comedian (who does this guy think he is, anyway?) is bent because he has to go one earlier than he is supposed to. He balks, so Chris goes onstage. Carolyn and DT are talking, say it looks a little disorganized. (Well, it wasn't until you blew Rebecca's schedule.)

42. "So Tell Me Who Wins, Already..." |
Jake Glaser steps up to make his comments at the Yahoo event. Pete Dominic is introduced. What's with his teeth, they look strange. He also starts making jokes at George. He isn't moving on. This is making the apprentices nervous, although George seems to enjoy it. Now the second comedian is working on George. At the stadium, post-event, Randal and his team are departing. Hugs all around, Randal feels so much gratitude for the hard work they put into helping him win. He's relieved it's over. The Yahoo event is ending. Golf applause (which will hereafter be known as 'Weaver applause'). Handing out the gift bags at the door as folks leave. Would have been nace to mention the donor cards in the bags. George had a good time, though, especially liked the 'Yahoo-tinis with the purple ice'. Rebecca so happy with how hard her team worked for her, wishes she could do something for their efforts. Rebecca returns to the suite and she and Randal talking about their day. Usual F2 stuff. The next morning they went out to breakfast, or maybe lunch, to talk about their experience.

48. "Will Anyone Be Hired...Ever?" |
Exciting footage of Randal and Rebecca packing. Randal believes he is the whole package DT is looking for. Rebecca has the experience and passion. They depart the suite a final time for their last boardroom. Rona asks them to take a seat on the sofa. The 'employees' arrive and are escorted into the Boardroom. Josh says Randal an incredible leader, always calm in the eye of the storm. Mark says it would have taken away from the charity if they tried to play ball. They raised over $11,000. DT asks Toral how much money they raised, they explain that the Yahoo folks told them not to ask for donations. George questions this, who was putting on the show anyway? (Wasn't Yahoo the client?) DT doesn't think it right that charity lost out, Yahoo should make substantial contribution. James (?) mentions that Autism didn't talk about donations until they heard Alison speak so passionately, at which point they changed their plan to include an auction. Marshawn says Randal better, his education distinguishes him from Rebecca. Several people sticking up for Rebecca. Carolyn says Rebecca handled her event very well. Asks why Randal had no Plan B in event of rain, despite how well they executed the event. George points out that Randal did not introduce the celebrities who were there. They had decided to concentrate on the charity and not the celebrities. DT asks if Randal is too low-key, is he tough enough to make in NYC. They say yes. DT says he recognizes that Rebecca is tough, points out when she stood up for Toral. Toral speaks passionately at how Rebecca has performed despite her injury. Her entire team speaks well of her. DT says he is 'stuck with two stars'. He dismisses the teams. And....the elevator doors close. Will Rebecca still be on crutches for the Live show?

54. "The Final (And I Mean It This Time) Boardroom" |
Randal and Rebecca are ushered into the Boardroom. Randal believes he deserves to work for DT based on his winning record, experience, academic and professional background. Rebecca says he recognizes her loyalty, honesty and she's not afraid to stand up for what she believes, but mostly because she's continued for 13 weeks with a broken foot. DT says Rebecca should have greeted him or delegated someone to do so. He didn't like the room where Randal held his event. DT tells Randal he raised $11,000. He asks Rebecca why they didn't raise money. George and Carolyn ask why she didn't put as much effort into promoting the charity, Rebecca asserts Yahoo was the client. Randal speaks up that he felt the charity was the client. DT not as happy with Randal's performance that last 13 weeks. Feels he should have had a list of auction items, the VIPs weren't on stage when introduced so no one could see them. Carolyn wants to know why he didn't check the weather. They finally get Randal to admit he did not have a Plan B. Randal thinks Rebecca is still young, had a losing record and her team sent her away when they had a chance. Rebecca says Randal's Achilles Heel is overthinking things and spends too much time on little details and doesn't see the big picture. Randal is shaking his head and making noises while she is talking. He now begins to attack Rebecca. DT asks George and Carolyn what they did right. George thinks they are both stars. Carolyn agrees and give them credit for motivating their teams. Carolyn thought Yahoo was a great event. Randal did well even without a backup plan. DT tells them both they are brilliant and have great futures ahead of them, then asks them to leave the Boardroom.

59. "Live...From Lincoln Center" |
Montage of Rebecca talking to a bunch of psople, asking 'important' questions as part of her job as a journalist. She also works with a non-profit consulting group helping NFP groups function better. Rebecca is driven. She is welcomed to Lincoln Center, no crutches, looking pretty hot. Now, time for Randal's montage. Shots of his consulting company, which he founded with college buddies. Shots of his home life. Randal wants to run a billion dollar company. He will scream at the top of his lungs if he is hired. And with that, he is welcomed to Lincoln Center. 'Let's make it happen' as he is shaking hands. Before The Hair (thank you, UKRocks) hears from the F2, he wants to hear from the Losers. Toral first, she's proud to support Rebecca, she's better than Randal. Toral calls Rebecca 'a diamond in a haystack'. Marshawn disagrees, doesn't see how The Hair could make any other chance than Randal. Jen M (talk about HAIR) also goes with Randal. Alla next, she's all about the facts, Rebecca isn't in the same league as Randal, saw nothing in Rebecca. Lots of boo's from the audience. The Hair sticks up for Rebecca and sends us to commercial.

That little ramble of hers just proved to me that she isn't a good business person. In business you have to know what to say and when to say it. For her to say Rebecca did nothing was just too out there and should have never been said!

The Hair introduces Dan from Yahoo who announces they will donate $100,000 to split between the charities so no one gets left behind.Ah, the jobs. First, New Jersey. Trump Plaza in Joisey City. Well, that will be convenient for Randal, anyway. Breathtaking views of the Hudson River and NYC skyline. Or, Atlantic City. Expansion and renovation of his three hotel and casino properties. It a 'uge' undertaking. Randal would prefer the Atlantic City project. Rebecca would take Trump Tower in New Jersey. The Hair asks Rebecca if there is such a thing as too much education. She is diplomatic that depends what you do with your education. The Hair asks Randal if Rebecca tough enough, he says she's too inexperienced. Asks Randal why he should be hired. We've heard this before. Asks Rebecca the same thing. She's speaking strong, willing to walk through a brick wall to accomplish what she wants. She thinks she's better as an Apprentice. Randal speaks up to argue the fact. George wants to discuss Randal's record, but The Hair says it's time to go to commercial.

Don't think I've been aware of Rebecca's non-profit that she founded as a child. $750,000? And getting "big dogs" behind it? Not too shabby for a kid.

Yes, he did.He provided no reasonable explanation, being such a huge scholar, other than "there should only be one Apprentice. This is the Apprentice, not Apprenti." That was so unbelievably selfish of him, she would've worked in the other location, so it wouldn't have mattered much to him, he basically came across as a glory-hog saying that he's the winner, and he should be the only winner. RANDAL, YOU ARE AN #####!!!

70. "The Choice" |
It's time, finally, for The Hair to make a decision. He tells us for him, this is business not entertainment because the person may be working for him for a long time. He takes time to listen to himself talk about how great each F2 Apprentice is. The Hair is *hearting* big time on Rebecca, although he questions her loyalty, just a little bit. Randal's a great leader, rarely seen on this show, and he does it nicely.Rebecca, you're oustanding. Randal (insert pregnant pause), you're hired. Randal is celebrating with the loser Apprentices and The Hair has to call him back to the table to ask his opinion about Rebecca. If Randal were The Hair, would he hire Rebecca also? Randal thinks there should only be one. Wow, what a sore winner. I lost quite a bit of respect for Randal tonight. What would it hurt him to say, yes. Bill would have done it for Kwame. ('You'd do it for Randolph Scott. *singing* Randolph Scott'.)

DT hires Randall. Offers Randall the chance to have DT hire Rebecca. Randall says NO. DT leaves it at that, but says that had Randall said he was okay with it, he'd have done so. My opinion of Randall just went way down. Sore winner???

Randal has 5 degrees, and was a Rhodes scholar. I was just wondering. Is Apprenti the plural of Apprentice? It does not sound right to me. From my three years of Latin, I think Apprenti would be the plural of Apprentus. Maybe he is not as smart as he thinks.

I was a little surprised Randal did that but I think Trump is the bigger loser for putting him that position, especially right there on the spot. It's Trump's show, as he never tires of telling us, so he should be making decisions like that. Plus, hiring both of them is a cop out, the whole point of the show is to pick one winner.

I see your point about the show only having one winner, but Donald did pick one winner: Randal. Asking Randal if Rebecca was worthy of being hired wouldn't take one iota away from his win.

I'm guessing it was the should Rebecca be hired also? Trump probably figured Randal would say yes. Boy was he wrong. Then again, I was wrong too.I'm conflicted. I think Randal deserved the win. And I agree that there should really be one Apprentice. I can only imagne what would have happen if Jeff Probst asked Danni if Stephenie should also get a million dollars. That wouldn't have been cool. But Randal should have handle it better. He should have at least said "You shouldn't hire her as an Apprentice, but you defintley should hire her as something else." But I don't hate him. He was harsh in both boardrooms. But then I remember how Rebecca (and Trump) kicked Randal around during the XM Radio task. Randal probably didn't want to go through that again. Eh... both of them did about the same in my opinion (at the final task). But Randal did have the better record. I did love watching Chris and Josh battle over Rebecca/Randal. They really do motivate their teams. Good season, but the ending is kind of sour. It's like Survivor: Palau. A great season, that was soured because of Tom's last episode behavior.
