So You Think You Can Polka!

Making the teams do dances seems to be one of TAR's favorite tasks to do these days, especially since it has resulted in some of the most memorable meltdowns. I wouldn't call this polka a huge meltdown, but it certainly led to some interesting visuals during it. Honestly, my biggest highlight was that super-long apartment building, just for the sheer weirdness of it.

Boost or No Boost
This week proved to be a little tricky overall, with the range of bets being all over the place. Jason/Amy were the most popular pick overall, netting a lot of players a nice 1.8x payout. Tim/Marie fetched a decent number of wagers too, netting some nice Booster payouts. Brandon/Adam's last place finish set quite a few people back, however, even knocking a few players out of the game.
Speaking of which, we did lose a few players this week: MzTee, chiubakka, Snidget, jbenz, and Molaholic. You would think that Brandon/Adam, after finishing 1st before the TBC, wouldn't fall to the very back of the pack... Darn bunching. Thanks for playing everyone! 
This week's Greatest Gainer Award goes to Georjanna, who climbed 9 ranks to land in the Top 3 for the week. Now that's a big change in fortune!
The Perfect Bet Award also goes to Georjanna (2.88x), who narrowly edged out taffnic (2.86x) for the prize. Both players benefited great from some nice Booster bets.

Bonus Game - It's PAT!
Like the tides or the sunset, we are in an never-ending cycle of playing the PAT bonus game. Maybe it's more like a Groundhog's Day loop.
PAT stands for the Painfully Average Team which is the team that finishes right smack in the middle of the pack. They are neither awesome, nor sucky. They're just kinda there. For this week, with 7 teams remaining, that'll be the team that finishes in 4th place.
So you're essentially placing a wager on which team will finish 4th. If you're right, you get a huge payout. If you're wrong you lose the bet. This is a completely separate wager from your regular bet, though.
You may also only make one bonus wager, so it's an all-or-nothing gamble.

Usually I make the bonus worth about the amount of a normal bet, but I'm upping the limits this year with the Booster in play.
