I know that many of you are not wondering why I have not summoned you here or anywhere on this day, so much like and unlike every other day on this coalesced mass of matter and gas.But you're wrong. I have summoned you here, whether you know it or not. TechNoir knows. She was the first to acknowledge the call, to come here and grace you all with...herself. Because I beckoned. And now you're drinking her Kool-Aid. And who urged you to do that, after she but asked so nicely? That's right. Me. And you did it. Others have acknowledged the call as well. They know who they are. You might know, and you might not. But whether or not you acknowledge the call, you all know why you're here. That's right. It's because of me. You talk about it often. Many of you have noticed the resemblance. You know. And yet you are here. And why? I'm not sagacious, or charismatic, or beautiful. I'm not pretty or witty or bright. But I pity all of you who are not me tonight. Who went forth and showed you how to write letters to Yahweh? 
That's right, I did. And you came here in droves. Who identified for you all my messenger among this herd flock, Kelly Goldsmith? 
That's right, I did. And you helped write more letters. Who bet against me in the wrestling match? That's right, I did. And boy, do I like having your money. Are you catching the pattern? Now, I have to go do some other stuff now. But I'm going to leave you a little present as I go off to watch another of my instruments in action:

I love you all, with a few exceptions. But we don't need to go there, because contrary to a once-upon-a-time plan, I am not interested in getting booted with this post. But special thanks and worshipful adoration to my real-life friends TechNoir and Fester, and no less to my not-face-to-face but very much real friends Pooh, Kimmm, Buggy, Bebo, Dweezil, Kyngsladye, Mandy, and Moonie, and to some people I've come to like a bunch even though we don't talk all that much, like Mon and Sir E and Slice and PythonFan and Boner and Draco and True and Silvergirl and T and Coco and Deb, and a special shoutout to my newest overt correspondent, Wheezy. Thanks also to Webby and IceCat, who are tremendously suave human beings, Webby for giving us this place, and Icey just because...I mean, really, who among is cooler than IceCat? TOUGH! Oh, I like to think that I am equally as cool as Ice Cat, but of course, no one exceeds him. Oh again, I will pretend that I am WKWSI and will occasionally refer to myself in this way in the future.

See, I logged on just briefly for the first time since posting my football picks on Sunday, and this is the first post I clicked on. I have been summoned all right.I have been floundering mercilessly in what is supposed to be a research paper on the constitutional dimensions of autonomy rights 1950 - today and beyond, but I just had to log on. Now it's time to drink my kool-aid, learn about everyone's opinions on the Patriot Act (and likely not post because someone has said what I think already), and go to bed with nightmares of the "living constitution" dancing in my head. 
a giant cloud of methane gas for a brain sounds like it would be difficult to manange on a windy day. Do you have a special hat or something?
