PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

since I dance, I think it would be interesting to see how well these folks would do if they mixed everyone up and put them with different partners and said "OK, let's all just dance this one {link:www.bestballroomdance.com} freestyle. What we see each week is a perfectly choreographed routine so that is why I wonder if the dancers could dance freestyle with other partners. Let's do that?! It would be very interesting.

Hey Dancerlover -- welcome to the boards! This forum gets really busy and pretty crazy when the season starts. Stick around and join in the fun. It will be nice to have another ballroom person I can snark with. Unfortunately (or fortunately if it would make for good tv), I think the Jack and Jill format would be a train wreck as very few of the celebs actually learn how to lead/follow. I love the idea of partner changing. I am not sure how they would do that if the celeb genders became uneven (maybe have alternate professionals that could be rotated in?) Cheers!

HI! So you dance, too! I am NOT an instructor, just social dancing, but I have learned all the dances and glad to know you are here. You are right about the "train wreck" thing. But so often I think people who love the show (and I admit I enjoyed watching the Emmit season) think they could never dance. I just wish they could see that even those celebs doing the fabulous moves have done each one a million times and there is no lead and follow to it on that show. Anyway, hopefully I will see your entries again after the season starts. Jeannie
