LAST EDITED ON 08-24-03 AT 02:47 PM (EST)Somewhere alone the way, I signed up to do a summary. Time got away from me, and I can't possibly do as well as the fabulous Pooh. So I thought I would do a little observation section. Feel free to add your observations as you wish.
The one thing that gets me everytime is the theme song and opening credits. The first few bars sound like the 90210 theme music. Alas, no one is even remotely like our favorite, Dylan McKay. The Opening credits, well I have to ask Fox if they know how to spell. See in the first few weeks, we went boy/girl or girl/boy alphabetical. So it went like Amanda, Alex, Amy, Beau, etc. Which made it sickening that Toni was always last. Like she was the Heather Locklear special guest star. I guess it makes sense though, since any male that Toni made out with threw up, but I digress. All of a sudden, Amanda is after Kristen? What is the deal with that? Fox, can't you spell? And keep my beloved 90210 out of it. Oh except Noah, I mean Keith can stay cause he's the hottest male there. Sorry Zach of the lawyer within him and Zach, I have more of a six pack than you.
And from the Original Broadway recording, I bring you HAIR!
Gimme a head with hair, long beautiful
Shining, gleaming, steaming, flaxen, waxen
Give me down to there, hair!
Shoulder length, longer (hair!)
Here baby, there mama, Everywhere daddy daddy
Hair! (hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair)
Flow it, Show it;
Long as God can grow it, My Hair!
Let it fly in the breeze and get caught in the trees
Give a home to the fleas in my hair
A home for fleas, a hive for bees
A nest for birds, there ain't no words
For the beauty, the splendor, the wonder of my
Hair! (hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair)
Flow it, Show it;
Long as God can grow it, My Hair!
I want it long, straight, curly, fuzzy
Snaggy, shaggy, ratty, matty
Oily, greasy, fleecy, shining
Gleaming, steaming, flaxen, waxen
Knotted, polka-dotted; Twisted, beaded, braided
Powdered, flowered, and confettied
Bangled, tangled, spangled and spaghettied!
That pretty much covers everyone there's hair, except Amy, Toni's and Kristen's. I figured that Hair was a very important topic amongst the guests and should be discussed. What better way than through a classic Broadway hit about hair? Alas, it doesn't mention really bad dye jobs and zebra stripes. Well, it does mention a home for fleas...
Which brings me to Tara's hair. Does she ever wash it? It's braided a lot of the time. There are days when she looks less then fresh. Notice that Scott never does. He is always looking more than fresh. Scott, you should have gone out for "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". Could he and Holly BE any more boring? (Going for a little Chandler Bing there, hope it works)
Dave. Dave, your boobs are bigger than mine and that isn't a good thing to flaunt on national TV. Grab a hint from the lawyer within (cuz we all know how smart he is) and stop being an ass. Charla will NEVER go for you. She is just a coldhearted wench. Although I do give you kudos for putting Charla and Alex the neanderthal man together. Perfect couple. Although the best would have been Amy and Keith.
So we come down to, who is going to win this thing? I was rooting for Keith, but I gotta go with Smokey. He is quiet. Observant. Good conversational piece. I think we have a winner.
Friends, please a poll. Biggest slut: Kristen or Tara.
That my friends, are my observations.
