This year we have a preview show on Monday 10/26...the first performance show with top 20 is 10/27 and top 18 is Nov. 3 with no result shows because of the World Series. There will not be an elimination show next week. Top 20 Finalists will then compete as couples, and two finalists will be eliminated in a 2-Hour performance show on Tuesday. Full-profiles of all of the Top 20 contestants will be posted next week on Fox.com/dance. So the jidges will just go backstage and decide without 3 bottom couples as voted by public. One thing I did notice was Russell's bio. Russell Ferguson started dancing when he was 3 years old and began dancing professionally at age 6. He trained at the Boston Art Academy and has worked with Boston City Lights. His interests include acting, singing, drawing, rapping and making music. I think there must have been some misunderstanding when he was asked about formal training. Maybe Russell thought they were asking about a specific style of dance. Who knows. I'm also guessing that Brandon and Victor will be early casualties (though Brandon will be given a free pass on week one). Also, one of Peter and Phillip will be gone early.
