Looks like she fell in that last pose.
Nigel. Incredible start. So much going on. The whole thing is that it was exciting. Tremendous stuff. Next week in LA the Ballet theatre coming to do Romeo and Juliet and need to do disco during the intro. Really good strong couple.
Mary. Can I get an Amen? Needed a Disco pick me up and that was it. It was really well executed. Good lifts hard to do and Ade you just let it go. Melissa you are a vision and really let it go.
Tyce. That was frigging great. Melissa I adore you and no one thinks a Ballet dance can do that and you body is brilliant. Ade disco 1970's not store brought and it was great.
Man they are talking fast tonight.

Was it just me or did the disco routine look cleaner when Janette and Brandon did it? Maybe it's just because Melissa and Ade are so much taller, but for some reason her legs just didn't seem to mmmmmake it there.

Very well done.
nigel. Very powerful piece. For anyone that has experienced. Kayla as the addict, I would like to see you more rather than your hair. Dance wise superb. Kupono you were malevolent very dark and that smirk was horrible and knowing you had that power. you were brilliant.
Mary. Kupono the intensity that you started and stayed in character. You get a character and latch onto it. Kayla you are flawless. You guys are staying on the train.
Tyce. Having worked with Mia is you add a level to yourself. The best dancers are the best actors, you are embodying the experience. Kupono you could be stronger in your body but the acting, Kayla you are a beast. I enjoyed the acting and both of you as a couple that is entertainment.

Nigel. Made everything look simple when it wasn't. So gentle and you were doing some incredible things. Jason your footwork was very good indeed. There is a huge improbment. This is your style Caitlin, smooth and cool.

Nigel. Slowly clapping with no sound. We ask you to try anything, I don't know if we should have thrown that. It felt two young kids, like not ask you to do enough (talks about last year) felt too folky. Need a lot of vodka to go with it. Difficult one for you guys it isn't about your dancing Phillip your leg work was fabulous. Jeanine you look beautiful.
Mary. Jeanine you made it look believable. Phillip on the flips across the stage that was interesting. And the leg kicks not easy and you pulled that off. As a whole it wasn't difficult but there were some bright spots.
Tyce. I agree to some degree. I want to honor the dancer. How did you execute that, and I think you did well. Philip I thought this would be horrible and you changed my mind I think you did very well.

Nigel. Number of good things. Getting over pregnant choreography. Should you be doing those lifts? They didn't ask you to be urban, let you be you to a hip hop feel. You could get yourselves together. You are one of my favorite couples. Great asset to this program.
Mary. I was expecting a train wreck. I didn't think you had it in you and you did a great job. I kept looking at Evan to see when they are going to do something wrong and you didn't fall down. Randi my eyes are always drawn to you, standing out once again.
Tyce. Such good story telling. I do think that Evan you need to find more, it was good, come out and explore what this is. Randi I think you are doing great.

Honestly, where was the pregnancy? If they hadn't mentioned it in the preview, I wouldn't have known. All it looked like was a young couple getting engaged. Besides him touching her stomach, nothing.
If it were a pregnancy, then as Evan mentioned in the preview, shouldn't there have been a little more concern or something on their faces?

*doing my happy dance* Yeah -- they finally figured that maybe they should hire someone else to choreograph.
Camera work AGAIN really shitty (it's so much about the intricacy of the footwork). I thought the choreo was great stage tango and Janette and Brandon did a fantastic job dancing it. I don't think any of the remaining dancers could have handled this as well because you really need to be used to partnership dancing to get away with some of this moves they did.
If I were to quibble, I would say Brandon was a little bow-legged in this, but I digress.

Nice but kind of forgettable.
Nigel. It is obvious they worked hard. The work was good, put time and effort in. I don't always see chemistry, but technically danced it very well.
Mary. I see quite a bit of chemistry however it wasn't magic tonight. I loved the piece and a couple of really unique things that seemed to be effortless. Jason they will all adore your face and you do make things look easy and Caitlin another outstanding woman with beautiful lines. May not be memorable but it was really good.
Tyce. The great thing is the partnering is challenging and the timing has to be on and it was beautiful. don't want to see you guys play it safe. I think you did a great job.

I agree...Jeanine is absolutely amazing. She is totally holding the bag for both of them. Philip is absolutely incredible at what he does...but is obviously stuggling with everything else. Jeanine is amazing at evelrything she does and has great personality.
I really think it is terribly biased and unfortunate to give some of the dancers back stories before the Top Twenty show starts, and then to ignore others completely. It totally puts them at a disadvantage for the voting audience who often vote by personality, not talent. Hopefully she had proven herself now and will get the fan base. Agreed.
I have to think that if that prediction holds true that Randi would be safe.
My thought would be that Caitlin would be gone, though it may depend on her solo.
If Jeanine and Philip are in the B3, I have to think J would be safe as well.
In the same regard, I think Evan and Kupono are at HIGH RISK. The only think that I would think would hold Evan back is who he would be partnered with in the future.

Forgive my general sentence structure. Too much wine ... from whimsey.
What I meant is that Evan is so short, I feel like the judges may take that into consideration when looking at future couples in the top 10, especially since this is the last time they have "control" over the eliminations.
If that makes sense.

I think that Nigel & Co. have been pimping some people (like Phillip) to get them on the tour. Once that is achieved, I expect them to turn on some of the people that they formerly liked. And in that vein, Evan could be a casualty early on because of his height.

For me it always comes to who I want in the final 10 an on tour. I know Phillip will bring in more revenue on tour than Brandon or Evan. Dang it! I'd much rather see Evan and Kupono than Phillip. Can't say the same for the ladies, though. Randi has my pretend votes tonight.

I agree that Kayla & Kupono and Caitlin & Jason are B3. Not sure about Randi & Evan, as the voters seem to love this couple, and they haven't been B3 yet. But someone has to take that last spot.
Melissa & Ade should be safe, and Brandon & Janette should be safe also. That leaves Randi & Evan vs Phillip & Jeanine. I don't see how P&J don't get that last B3 spot, making R&E safe again.
So who goes home? The judges all but guaranteed that Janette was safe this week, and we all know they love Kayla (unless she lays another solo dud), so sadly I think Caitlin will get her ticket home. For the guys, while I think Phillip has done all he can do on the show and is the weakest, the judges will want to keep him for T10. I think Jason will get kept as he had done well and they seem to like his cute factor. I think Kupono will get to check off the "go home" box on his to-do list (that he actually wasn't hoping to check for a few more weeks!)

yup, I totally agree. I think Caitlin, if in the bottom three which I assume, will be off packing tonight. And, for the guys, I am hoping it is Jason or Kupono, but not Evan. I think they are riding him pretty hard...but I still really like him. I think Jason and Kupono are talented, but are not totally bringing it. Jason is cute as a button, but he might be my choice to go home tonight.
