I'm breaking in my new bigger TV tonight. I almost couldn't get it in the entertainment center. Yea for friends who are downsizing their lives! It's a 26 inch and my old TV is a 19 inch. They are in black skeleton sweat shirt and hip hop shorts. Kinda odd, Pasha coulda popped it a bit more, but not bad overall. Nigel: Great opening routine by Shane Sparks. Created human transformers there. Pasha, you've moved easily into a hip hop genre which isn't easy. Lauren we had a lot of problems if you were the one we should keep. I'm glad we kept you. Mary. That was unbelievable, what a great new partnership. Man o man Pasha, I was not expecting, and you too Lauren, hard hitting and synchronized. Nigel, I got a fever tonight and the prescription is more Pasha and Lauren. Mia was freaking out that Pasha was doing hip hop in an awful way. You pulled it off and did excellent. She is in a lavender baby doll dress, he is in a white shirt and pant. Had a really nice lift and some good jumps and a bit more flailing around than I like. Nigel. I thought that was really well danced from the pair of you, the only thing negative is I didn't get the emotional journey from you, Kameron, Sabra did, but you didn't. You both did very very well, but didn't have the magic between you. Mary. I don't see the magic between you, either. How you danced was really good. Kameron there isn't enough extension in the extensions, when I see Sabra here, it just goes on forever, that was perfection out there. It was a mixed bag for me it was danced well and synchronized. Mia. Kameron I feel like you have been exposed. You are beautiful and strong, but you are like a young competition dancer, there is something you need to breakthrough. Well do you know what is really great is to bring back Dimitri to choreograph that for us. Lot of fun there. Lacey you use Danny and play to the audience, he was using you more than you were using him. What you lacked in technique Danny you made up for in performance.. Mary. Danny this wasn't my favorite tonight. Every week you have been perfection, tonight a bit lacking in technique, your performance was good. Lacey, fabulous, you are so rhythmical, your technique is fabulous the wind is blowing you towards the finale. Mia. I think that was the sexiest dance so far this season. That was hot hot hot hot Dmitry what Hot. You are like the Stallion of dance, Danny, the way you carry yourself. Lacey you are hot you are ridiculous. Other than the one time, Danny didn't do much Samba steps at all. He just walked slowly or held still while Lacey danced around him. It was still great, but I think it was choreographed to hide Danny's weaknesses (like Hok's dances in the past). Lacey's got to do well in her solos, because she basically did one tonight. He still has the dropping people thing. Man of La Mancha by Linda Eder She is in a peasant top and yellow skirt. He is in a white shirt with brown vest and pant. I know they said spanish flair to it, but I'm not sure I'm really seeing much of a waltz? Cat. Am I interrupting. Nigel. A Viennese waltz is a straight three/four and this is more like a Paso doble music, I can understand why you are trying to put so much character, I am disappointed when you do too much characterization, then it starts to get comedic. It did not work for me at all at any level. Jaimie I was too busy watching Dominic being hammy. Mary. That was way, way over the top. It was almost cartoonish, it wasn't believable. It just killed me to see you overplaying it. The technique wasn't good, the footwork was not correct, just no chemistry between you, we couldn't believe it. Mia, first Dom, you have to stop apologizing to Jaimie. I'm going to critique it. The carriage and lines were awful and when you jette'd I wanted to jette off the pane. He has been riding high on the Sabra connection and on his personality, but I think he should probably be gone tomorrow. As a former gymnast, I know how hard Neil's split back flip was. Anytime you split your legs like that it slows down your momentum, so it shows his strength that he went so high and made it look so easy. "RE: SYTYCD Season 3 Top 10 Performance East Coast Spoiler Thread " My general thoughts on tonight: I really liked Wade's choreo for the solos, but seeing it 10 friggin times was way too much. They all just ran together for me. I think Danny really stood out and made it his own style. I thought Dom did bring in some of his breaking style, too. And I liked Neil's the least. I had to LOL at Nigel saying that Lauren brought "hope" into the end of her routine. Uh, Nige? It's just that she cannot stop herself from smiling all the time. That wasn't "hope" that was "oh, aren't I so cute and bubbly?" Ugh. She sickens me. The partner routines? Big.Fat.Meh. Except for Lacey and Danny, who I LOVED. They were so sexy and really looked like they were having fun. After reading the spoilers, I was expecting Dominic to do some hardcore mugging during his and Jamie's routine, but I think Nigel was way too harsh. You need to find a way to bring more dynanism, more believable then. Mary, soft and strong when you needed to be. Mia Danced it well, but you've hit a plataeu. Dominic Nigel. A little tight, loved the emotion at the end but technique was lacking. Mary. Good emotion, need to loosen up your upper back. Mia. He gave you a piece and generally no body added their own vibe and no one translated it in a whole new way. I wanted to see you make it you, you did a great job but I was waiting for something more. Sara Nigel, you are a small person and you need to make your dancing bigger, you were small in your movement. Emotionally it was fine. Mary, connected with me I thought you were terrific. Mia, I felt you and you told the story. Pasha Nigel. Showed you were out of your league, no emotion because you were thinking about technique. Mary, agree on the emotional level but you suprised me. Mia, over dramatic, brougth in the ballroom head and it was awkard. Lauren Nigel. First dancer that showed me how well the music worked, and you were the first to come forward with hope in your eyes at the end. Mary. I think everything you do tonight you blossemed, I felt every minute you were up there. Mia Great Great terrific beautiful great job. Neil. Nigel, you have shoulders that come up by your ears and your carriage, you gotta be careful it makes your arms ugly, not enough emotion. Mary, Mixed, what Nigel said and some movements were great. Mia. Beautifully danced and no emotion, watch your upper back and shoulders. Sabra Nigel. You are small but you danced so large you covered that stage your emotion is there and you came forward with hope. Mary. I have one thing to say, and she bows while everyone's fingers are in their ears. Mia. They keep asking me who is my favorite and I didn't know until tonight. Kameron. Nigel. I've gotta be honest, I feel a little let down, if we had been given the opportunity we would cut you, but tonight you were terrific you brought emotion and you felt that punch in your hand. I am surprised that I am happy. Mary. I connected with your emotions in this piece. Great Job Mia. You applied what I critiqued you on earlier and that speaks volumes to how you will work. Great job. Lacey. Nigel. Darling you have everything, don't just list two things you are great at what you do. Mary. Agree you have it all you are a class act and man can you dance. Mia. I agree you did an amazing job, I wanted a bit more emotionally but you are killing it. Danny. Nigel. Mia said that no one put their own feel, I think she is wrong and it was like honey being poured you were smooth and you go through it. You have to be careful that you go off music, but it is beautiful to watch. We are chipping away at this shield and we will chip away of it and we will all get something out of you. Need more emotion. Mary. I think we are getting more emotion, more different than any of the other dancers. You were kinda melting across the floor and I felt your emotion tonight. Mia, it is about breaking you done and shed those layers that keep you distanced. You have the potential of being in the books and break down those walls, make them go away, whatever is keeping you chained break them. And Snidge, I agree with the cheesiness -- not Wade's best work. I thought Sabra by far did the best job. I enjoyed Danny's interpretation also, and Neil's high jumps. I thought Dom did the worse -- his lack of training seemed exposed tonight. I also hated Lauren's routine with her cheesy grin at the end (and cannot understand the judges loooooove for her).
