Why can't she just go awaaaaaaaaaaay, and never come back, I can't watch that stupid dance of hers again. Why keep bring back old hg's? I also agree, why does summer need to come back, didn't she already loose all of her weight?
I'm sick of the old people comming back...just a waste of time. Not to sound mean, but on the 27th, looks like Cassie gets yelled at. lol!

Are they having trouble finding housemates for SO. They keep bringing people back. I would think they would be flooded with people interested in moving into the SO house. It doesn't surprise me that Sommer would want to come back. She seems like an attention whore. Have you ever seen her MYSPACE site? She is very into having tons of pictures of herself.

Yeah Sommer and Cassie, NOT!!!!Well all they need to do now is bring back Tess and Deb-or-AH and we can have a losers reunion. From all the stuff on Sommers my space it seemed as though she was getting along just fine without SO's help. Of course I wondered why she was a friend of each and every new house guest on there but oh well whatever. Must be the end of season clean up. I would rather see how Sinae, Katrina and Rachel are doing, not Sommer and Cassie

I bet as soon as they figured out that SO wasn't going to be renewed for another season, they cancelled the auditions and quit looking at tapes. Maybe they just kind of gave up. There was an audition listed on the website and that was changed to cancelled and the list of who they are looking for hasn't changed in a long time. I bet whenever they found out it wasn't being renewed, they just decided it wasn't worth spending the money to bring in new people, give new graduation gifts, new Andi Page makeovers (oh, wait, she sucks so she's cheap, lets have tons of Andi Page). I think they attempted to cut their losses as early as they could. It would explain why Iyanla was missing for so long-why put all your effort and cancel speaking engagements and stuff for a show that is going to be gone soon. It's fine with me....I think I will be so annoyed with the show by the end of this season, I won't miss it in the fall-I just dread having to watch it all over again in the summer before something replaces it.

You are right tvfun, I looked and didn't see Jodi either. I think mabe she left, because I was reading about her on another site, and someone asked her a question about her graduation and the gifts they get on the show, and she said something to the affect...
"I don't know anything about any graduation gift." I don't remember exactly, but I remember thinking it was an odd comment. Who know's, but if she didn't leave, why isn't she mentioned past April 13th. We have previews till the 28th...I'm just sayin????

I never readily disliked Sommer, but it was the right decision to kick her out the first time. She was being sneaky and manipulative with production and wasn't there for the right reasons anymore. They gave her soooooooooooo many warnings to stop talking to production, but she didn't care enough to stop. Why would she now? I'm really disappointed in SO that she's being brought back.

Sommer may be the worst DAW of all time.How could anyone ever go back on a show that treated them like a criminal? Does she have an ounce of pride? Does she forget what it felt like to be told that she had ten minutes to gather as much of her property as possible and get out of the house? They didn't even give her enough time to gather her belongings - they had to send the remainder of her stuff to her house. I'm not even talking about whether the show was right or wrong...the bigger issue is that she is willing to reconnect with the people who humiliated her on national TV. Does this show really have that much appeal to unbalanced people? Does Sommer really believe that she is destined for stardom and that SO is the best vehicle for her? This is so unreal.................

Although, considering careers in publishing are vast and varied I wish we knew specifically what her job was. For all I know, she was selling magazines or delivering newspapers, technically, within the field of 'publishing'.

I don't understand how Sommer could allow herself to come back after Rhonda all but called her a theif. I wonder if there is something she signed that forced her to come back, I would have told Rhonda to kiss my royal behind. The list of people who have really come on the show for the reasons they say is very short. So what if Sommer wanted to learn about production, Kim (Louis V) wanted to be Oprah, Christie wanted free plastic surgery, gagLisa wanted to be a tv star and catch herself a rich sugardaddy.....we could go on all day!

If anyone has capitalized on S.O. it certainly has not been Sommer. In fact because she got kicked off she really wasn't allowed to in any way shape or form. Many of the other HGs have come on to help with their "careers" or to self-promote. I think Sommer just got stuck with that bad rap and it stuck to her for some reason...like velcro. I hope this time for whatever reason she came back, she gets what she wants out of it.

Sommer should have held herself a little more accountable while she was on the first time instead of carrying on with the camera crew, despite being repeatedly warned. That is why, imo, the wrath came down on her when the supposed burgulary happened. Didn't matter at that time if she was guilty or not, just mattered that she had not heeded any other warning so even a hint of scandal was her demise. Sommer definately contributed to leaving the show when she was on it before. Some personality traits stay with you and she was sneaky, sneaky, sneaky. She just thought no one could see through it and she was wrong. I don't really care to see her come back, don't understand why she would even want to. I thought she had moved on from her fiasco on SO but guess I was wrong. Seems to be the revolving door season on so, would not surprise me if they had a quitters/asked to leave/direct to rehab reunion show and add Tess, Deborah, Karen to the mix. I want to see real women with real problems that the show is about, not women who had their 15 mintues and blew it so now they need to revamp on tv again (in adition to above add Cassie and Allison to this mix).

Sofan...I totally agree with you...Sommer had her chances and I do mean "chances" and she made baaaadddd choices, thereby leading to her dismissal from SO. I felt sorry for her, but as you say and I do A-G-R-E-E, she was very sneaky and manipulative and it caught up with her...I don't believe Sommer has changed at all and God only knows why she's returning.I'd much rather see Deborah...she was a riot and seemed to have very real issues (including lying) and needed help so she coukld stop being abusive to her daughter...or maybe they can bring her daughter on (don't know how old she was) because that poor child needs help to cope with her mom.  Reading this thread gave me more laughs than most and I tend to agree with most of the views about the past HG's...I'm only sorry that they can't find people who have legitimate problems and are interesting HG's without too much drama. ...and since they're dragging back the old HG's ...why not bring back Tess (who got a raw deal) and Karen ( if she's completed rehab)...they have unfinished business as well. Although I'm happy for Cassie, I really think they are over playing that hand. ****************************

Well, this 'is' a real surprise -- Not Really.-- I saw the SO commercial on April 14's episode that 4 women had "unfinished" business (Hmmm), and only "one will come back for a Second chance". They didn't say who it would be and it's "coming soon." -- A while back on one of these threads, there has been hints that someone familiar will have a comeback at the house -- and it would be Sommer (?) I guess they look into these forums and see our frustration with the whole series. I look at it this way. SO has changed (I think) rules, integrities, etc. In the case of Lisa1, it was made clear. Rhonda reluctantly has given her whatever chances she can get out of her. What blew me away was that she let Lisa1 graduate anyway, and to hell on whether she was bluffing with her (Rhonda), her housemates, and us the viewer. So, to be fair, I think Rhonda had a change of heart and decided to let Sommer arrive back -- again just my thoughts. I'm like this, if she can give all-tears-and-no-growth Lisi-poo all the chances to change her life which by far were zilch, then she might as well bring out the whole gang (Sommer being the number-one contender, the other HG from season one, De-bo-ra (whataname), and Tess). I say that all the favoritism should stop, and that SO should stick to their priorties (e.g.: Integrity and sticking to your word). Well, I don't run the show nor their rules so I'm just stating the facts. It's been a dragging soap-opera IMO, hardly anything is learned from this show, more pettiness, more soft-core catfights, more staged Scared Straight tatics...Wow, what education and insight we're getting. Maybe because we're heading towards May sweeps and Season Finales. Alls Well That Ends Well

I always liked Sommer and felt them labling her with a scarlett letter right off the bat (For those that ddn't see her, they actually had he wear a scarlett letter for a one night stand with a married guy) was wrong BUT I would liked to ahve seen Kimberlynn come back.
Kimberlynn was the first ever to have been kicked out. Her goal was to obtain a driver's license...she did BUT at Bor they praise her over and over then tell her she ahs 15mins to pack and get out because she wasn't supportive of the housemates! Right then and there I thought the show was heartless, to praise her and make her think (and have the viewers think) she is graduating only to kick her out. I think they used that as an excuse because what do you give as a gift to someone that has obtained their first ever license?: a car?

I felt bad for Kimberlynn when she got booted from the house. I always saw that as more of a power struggle between she and Rhonda and Rhonda had to prove that indeed she was the one in charge. Kimberlynn did acheive her goal which was learning to drive. She appeared to have a problem relating to the others and Rhonda could have chosen to give her an additional opportunity to work on achieving skills to improve her interactions with people outside of her family. I like Rhonda but sometimes she appears to have a very strong stubborn streak and she does not like to be challenged by the housemates.

What Rhonda got p*ssed about was Kimberlynn was late getting back to the house from an assignment: Learning how to change the oil etc at a local garage.. Rhonda had to wait on her and when Kimberlynn got back she was in a foul mood and Rhonda even fouler and they had a blow up with Kimberlynn slamming the bathroom door. This season we see how many times Lisa one did the same yet ws given chance after chance?
The above instance I feel Rhonda was wrong...IF she had listened to Kimberlynn's words: I am late sorry but need to use the bathroom and Kimberlynn ran up the stairs. Rhonda stood at the bottom screaming, yes screaming, at Kimberlynn.
Right then and there I knew Rhonda was a fake. No one person should ever be screamed at as was Kimberlynn by a so called professional-Rhonda. The other wrong Kimberlynn did was being late (think she was late by 30mins) for an intervention group meeting regarding another housemate: Teresa. They felt she, Teresa, was drinking too much. This I do feel is Kiberlynn's fault since she was the major person concerned about Teresa and her drinking.
When Kimberlynn came into the house she was suppose to move in with Nyanza, who had the much bigger room, and I do mean big. Andy used the excuse (in other words she lied) she wanted to get closer to Nyanza in order to get into the bigger room. Now she tells Kimberlynn she is to stay in the guest room til she, Andy, gets moved.
NOT a good beginning for Kimberlynn for sure. Kimberlynn never once complained and Andy got her way: to finally be in the biggest room. She and Ny never did get close nor speak all that much. Another instance of how she was treated. She invites anyone who wishes to come to an African type music club (If I remmebr it was a one night program).....Some do decide to go but decide to stay outside smoking, by the time they got in there were no seats for them to sit with Kim and her family. Yhe seats being saved for them were taken by other paying attendees. Yet it is Kim who is the bad person and not the ones that were ignorant to ahve stayed outside and smoked (and I smoke but I would have smoked either before leaving the house or waited til after the perfomance).
Kim was the first scapegoat on the shows that others could blame for them not moving forward. There ahve been many since.

Good one, Over and Over.....or Here We Go Again.lolI think Rhonda is trying to save face. Sommer, Tess, and Deborah all were Rhonda's HG. All left on their own or were asked to leave. Karen had Iyanla and she left to go to rehab which is probably where she should have been anyway. IMO Rhonda made a huge mistake when she continued to give that spoiled brat Lisa chance after chance after chance. That is what she has had her whole life....can't make it on your own, here let daddy give you a grand to tide you over, not able to keep a roof over your head, here little girl mommy and daddy will buy you a condo. blech. This season we have had so many 'so firsts' and they all applied to puking Lisa. Your leaving the house, but you can stay in the guest room. Your leaving the house but if you have a successful dinner party you get to graduate. What a sham and a shame. Now we bring back past HG's with unresolved issues. Which if I recall Sommers was her body image. Her body looks pretty good now so why screw it up with a return? Who knows and I guess as far as I am concerned who cares? Bethany has the most raw and real story, I would love to see her live again. The rest is so much foo,foo in comparison.

I think it is a real shame how they have destroyed the original concept of this show. It had such potential. Seems to me that ever since Mary Ellen Bunim died they have bastardized her concept in the search for ratings and consequently have destroyed any integrity and higher purpose they started with on the first season. It really was a groundbreaking concept for daytime tv.

Personally, I think she is just an attention addict, judging by how she's got like, 8 bazillion photos of herself floating around on the internet. I just checked out her website (not the "myspace", the other one) and it's pretty much one long eyeroll for me, starting with the huge quote on top of the page: "Outward beauty is a side effect of self esteem... what a concept!" I guess that is supposed to mean that she's "beautiful? (edited to add: does that mean that people born with physical deformities just don't have enough self-esteem?) Give me a break, I think she was conceited even when she was obese, judging by comments she made such as, "Well, when I worked at the modeling agency, everyone said I'd be prettier than the models if I just lost some weight" <eyeroll> .
