Actually, I read on Wikipedia that the producers of the show said they based Toot partly on Amy Crews (Toot pigs out on cheese while sitting in the hot tub, etc.). Another interesting fact; Ling-Ling (the Pikachu-type character) has a family member named Jun-Jee as well. I thought that was pretty funny. Bonus question!
