I agree -- that was a little cartoony. The hair was so big and tall! I'm not a huge fan of the Lindy Hop, but they put a lot of energy into the dance and the audience seemed to enjoy it.

I liked that, even if the judges seem less than thrilled.
It kept me engaged the whole time which a lot of the dances have not tonight.

I liked the performance and I like Shawn, but what I think is holding her back in this competition is her youth and her (natural) lack of comfort with putting sexy and sultry into her moves.

Tom reported that Melissa apparently could continue, just not tonight.We get footage from their training week, which included the actual pain. Apparently she's got a hairline fracture. She did a rehearsal dance this morning, but then the pain increased as the day went on. Therefore, just like with Steve-O earlier this season, they're gonna score the rehersal dance..... Dancing the Jive to We Got the Beat
