"Dancing With The Stars #7 Picks To The End Game" |
Can you predict dancing talent? Fanbase turnout? The never-ending ability of the DWTS camera crew to focus on each other at the exact moment something notable is happening on the ballroom floor? If so, you may be able to win at the DWTS#7 PTTE game!To play, all you have to do is place the thirteen teams in the order you think they'll finish, last to first. The goal here is to avoid points. If you pick Kim & Mark to go in the #13 slot and they're actually the first ones out, then that's a perfect pick: you get no points and America is saved for another year. But if they somehow take the trophy home, you get one point for every slot you missed by -- in this case, rack up twelve to your total and get ready for the collapse of civilization. Until the season actually starts, you may freely change the order of your list without penalty. Once the competition is under way, changing your list will add seven points to your total. Consider carefully whether you want to risk the fee before actually doing it. DWTS has one rule other PTTE games don't. Because the nature of the contest lends itself to injury, we have a medical exemption. Should any pair be removed from the game due to a doctor's decision (too hurt to continue), you will not be penalized any points for their removal, no matter where you had them on your list. (Exceptions: if the professional dancer is removed for injury and the celebrity continues with someone else, just change one name on your list and keep going. Should anyone be removed preseason (which has happened), reorder your list for free as usual.) Win the game, and someone will probably design a sigpic for you. It may feature the image of the winning team. Which might include Kim. So you may or may not want it. Oh, well. You knew the game was dangerous when you started playing it. LAST EDITED ON 08-29-08 AT 10:13 AM (EST)I am totally amazed at how many of you are predicting Susan Lucci a first place winner! WOW, who woulda thunk?? I really don't...fan base? Yes, but no more than, say, Marie Osmond, or Cameron Mathison, and they only ended up in the final 5 or less. I just don't see her shaking her hips and doing those jumps at 61 years old. I see her being over-taken by the younger ones, like Kim Kardashian. Yes, I know, most of us HATE her, but I really think she is going to come out like gang busters, and her dancing is going to overrule the fan base. I could be VERY wrong here. Toni Braxton-I think she'll be a strong contender, also. Even though she hasn't done much of anything lately, I still think she'll be a decent dancer, and hopefully, won't get too depressed to get out of bed...Don't really know many of the other ones, so can't say a lot about them. Only time will tell, and I certainly have NOT been big on choosing-although I really did expect Apollo, AND Kristi. So, I don't want to down play my instincts too much....;-0
