Jen's ego is still huge, and it seems to have infected Matty while they stood next to each other for a week.

He's such a baby. Did anyone interview these people before having them compete? He is unhinged talking under his breath like my 13 year old. But I guess that's good drama. I was rotflmao. He's something else!

Thirteen tables constitutes a dinner service. Corey and LouRoss are stepping up. Jen's crowing about the restaurant filling up. Bobby is whinging about the menu being complex, but he's gonna deliver. He doesn't. Petrozza sends it back. Petrozza tells them to feel everything. His second try makes the cut. He's back in charge. A General in his kitchen. Right.

Bobby coughs up the idea of a lobster risotto and it's a hit as a new app. His food starts moving again.Christina's food starts coming back to the kitchen for being too cold. She forces Matt to move and get the stuff redone properly. Petrozza's food is now lining up on the pass and isn't getting out. He needs help but doesn't want to ask for help. Ramsay forces it and Ben lends a hand. Matt is now undercooking fish. She's spending all of her time on him. He tells Chef to "Shut the F up." Chef does have ears. Petrozza needs an onion ring. Just one. Jen is in charge of onion rings. *snort* He might get it before the night is over. Maybe.

19. "The throw-out factor." |
(As opposed to the usual throw-up factor.) Does anyone think what Gordon's really looking for here is the first chef toss? Both contestants have people they could throw out: Matt can't make fish take heat and Jen's incapable of frying a single onion ring -- and Gordon wants them both to pay for it. Whoever tosses part of their brigade might just win the whole thing right there.

and J (Petrozza and Jen) should have made HELL'S KIT CHEN HISTORY and said "GET OUT!!!" TO jEN AND mAT. They had teams behind them and their strongest should have had to "double up." I was so so so very upset with this finale. And, believe it or not, I am the only person in the WORLD or wherever this show broadcasts, who LIKES Jen. But she was CRAP to Petrozza and he should have kicked her ##### out. Prize or not.

It wasn't a raw piece of fish. It was cooked perfectly, except for one "technically" raw spot in a crevice of the fish. LOL!

Both teams finish service. They both think it could be close and they both want to win badly.Winner will be decided by comment cards and Ramsay's overall observations. Petrozza doesn't want to win to a kid - not even a very talented kid. Ramsay says the decision has been sheer agony. No kidding. He knows they will both go on to great success. Presumably, one will go on to success without becoming the new executive chef. Maybe. I'm starting to wonder if he makes it a tie based on their different strengths. We already know that they're gonna actually be working under someone else's direction - no matter what their title is.

Y'know what really hurts? The S.O.B. gave it to us in the opening credits again. Christina brushing the flames away and Petrozza fighting to the end.

This was one of the most anticlimatic boring finales. I pretty much knew Christina was winning and didn't care. Nobody this season really impressed me. Just glad it is over.

Ahhhhhh.....Disappointing final verdict by Ramsey. I get the feeling he had this one picked prior to the final service. "Potential"? Petrozza handled everything better than Christina did based one what we saw. Nothing was said about the customer voting cards at all. "easy food" vs. "Challenging food"? All in all, i am very disappointed. Christina handling the London in Hollywood? Interesting to see how long she lasts there. I feel bad for Petrozza. On to Big Brother 10 come Sunday. See ya'all over in that forum. geekboy "I love puppies!" - S. Cowell

28. "Agree" |
If the services were equal, one would think that the nod would go to the more difficult dishes - simple doesn't mean easy in Ramsay's kitchen. Then again, I couldn't see him handing over the London to such a slob in the kitchen.

Well, that was a bit of a surprise. I had thought Petrozza would win. But in hindsight, his big mistakes were:- food not quite up to par when taste-tested by Ramsay before service. - ran out of 2 apps (!), which indicates a lack of planning. - had to rely on Bobby to suggest alternative to lobster app, which indicates a lack of ability to handle pressure. Congrats to Christina, I guess. I never liked her, though, so this was a bit unsatisfying.

33. "Two Petrozza notes" |
The first one is about the prep and the explanation behind why it seemed he was way behind. From the RTVW Interviewhttp://www.realitytvworld.com/news/exclusive-louis-petrozza-talks-about-his-hell-kitchen-experience-7401.php What happened was there was a couple things Ramsay had a problem with. The consistency of the interior of my lobster strudel, it was definitely, definitely justifiable. I understood what he said, he said it was kind of curd a little -- what I did was I made a quiche batter and I cooked it in there and I baked it. He said, "Lou, the consistency's bad." I said, "I'll work on that chef, I understand what you're saying." All of a sudden, all the prep work for my lobster strudel gets thrown right in the garbage and you start over. So now you've got zero prep work done after that and you just spent hours on the stuff -- man hours anyway. Next thing, my duck was a little overcooked. I had set the timer, I didn't hear the timer -- whatever the case was, I didn't hear it, it didn't go off, whatever. Instead of having 12 minutes left on the timer, I looked at the timer and there was 12 minutes had PASSED -- it was 12 minutes passed my time that I timed it for. Now all of a sudden my duck's not going to work out exactly how it was on the menu, so now I've got to turn the duck thigh and leg into duck confit and mix it with the fried rice, revamp that thing. So now we've got something else we've got to do. My sweetbread, I prepared the sweetbread in a classical manner -- poaching, weighting and peeling the sweetbreads instead of slicing and sauteing. Ramsay said, "No, no, no. We're not going to do it that way, we're going to do it my way. I don't care how everybody else does it, we're doing it my way." "Understood Chef." What am I going to do? I'm not going to argue with him; that's something Jen would have done. That would have been a Jen move, and you saw where that got her. spent literally a couple of hours .So you know what? It's like showing up for work two hours late. Guess what, you're not going to have a good day of work if you show up two hours late. The duck and the lobster is his fault, but it seems that Ramsay fucked him over on the Sweetbreads. It is his kitchen. The second one is just heartbreaking There was actually a malfunction on the set, and my door opened along with Christina’s. Ramsay grabbed me right away and hugged me. I really didn’t know what was going on; I was kind of confused. Ramsay asked me if I forced it open and I said, “No, I just turned the handle.” I’m a pretty quick study, so with Ramsay hugging me, I figured it out. He said “Petrozza, it’s alright,” and I just thought, ‘Christina won.’ I gave him a big hug back and went downstairs and hung out with my girlfriend and my dad. We celebrated making it as far as we did, and I congratulated Christina for the great job that she did. http://www.orato.com/arts-entertainment/2008/07/09/petrozza-another-door-another-day?page=1
