PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats, but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are encouraged to read the complete guidelines. As entertainment critic Roger Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Firstly he was a German playing in England immediately after WW2.

And secondly, he broke his neck in the FA cup final and still played on in goal!

R.I.P. Bert Trautman A British and German hero.

Lovely cheese Mooney

Where are Voice of the Beehive when we need them?

Ah yes like N. J. "Piffles" Taylor for whom the football stadium is named. He had lost an eye in the war and returned to play football with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

In his grandson's words:

"My favourite story about my grandfather was when he was tackled rather severely and his glass eye popped out on the field,'' Milliken said. "This was long before the days of Astroturf. As you can imagine, it took him about five minutes to find his eye on the field, and he popped it back in and continued to play. So he was one tough fellow.''

Hope it wasn't raining that day!
